Star Fluxx: Possibly the simplest game in the history of man to learn, possibly the most difficult to win! At its most basic; the rules are: Draw a card, Play a card, but the rules will almost certainly change every turn, as will the victory goal! It's not affiliated with any of the big name sci-fi brands, so you'll have great fun with the b-movie esque style of this game, from the laser sword to the small furry alien and beyond! If you've never played Fluxx before, this is by far the best edition to get in on, and for your none gamer friends, it's easy to learn and rope them into a game or two! Before you know it; there'll be another gamer friend amongst your ranks! It's quick, it's simple, and I can't help but want to play it again and again! Definitely a good one to play between rounds when playing bigger games too… Go on, buy it… You know you want to :)

Full of humour and surprises, the game can completely change on the draw of a card. Brilliant.

Sometimes you're waiting ages for the game to finish because the rules keep changing. Interesting for the first few plays, but not a game I keep going back to.

It seems to be hard to get your head around at first but it really is as simple as ‘you do exactly what the card says’. The pace is at warp speed and your strategies will change just as fast. This is a themed version of the original, but not as we know it! Attaching creepers to keepers steps it up a notch. If you like sci-fi, you will enjoy the not so subtle inferences to popular movies, books and tv series. If you just like great games then this will tickle your fancy too. The fun grows as you get more familiar with the cards. Plays just as well with 2 as it does with 3–4 players. Small box, so easy to throw into your bag and pull out at a cafe.

I started playing this and was a bit unsure, but the more I played it the more addicted I became and now I can't get enough! I love the strategy combined with the constant changes in the game.

Really great game – I'd recommend looking on youtube to see how it's played as I find that's easier than reading the manual. But overall it's really fun and easy to pick up once you start playing.

Constantly changing rules and constant shifts in momentum, thinking you're set for a win and then suddenly you lose half of your cards. This game says 10–40 mins, it might even be 5 mins or an hour, regardless the excitement builds and tension grows. Great fun.
