This could become a NZ classic. Stereotypes, enemies turn good, oldies fantasies come true… and a little medical drama too. The plot is a classic, bride to be, wants the perfect day, and Mum wants her usual way of doing things… all turns out happy in the end. Bride gets her big day; Mum relives her teen rage fantasy, and father gets to see daughter and mother happy!

This is an Excellant New Zealand Movie – without the Hollywood Budgets – that uses well known icons and institutions – The Classic Yellow Mini van, Garage Sales, John Rowles, School Caretakers. It's a story about Community, friends pulling together and people thinking abiout what's important to them. Geraldine Brophy gives an awesome performance. Highly Recommended.
Love this Aotearoa movie. It just goes to show that new Zealand can make a good and funny but heart felt film… It is a must see for people who are a bit iffy about wanting to watch/purchase it
Great movie Very real and believable
The music and story is wonderful especially for all who have frequented a garage sale or Op shop. A real bargain.
Good story line and excellent acting.
Geraldine Brophy at her best…A story above the Rose family, a wedding and Jill Rose only wanting the best for daughter Cheryl..But with a twist..varacious bargin hunting
