Satzuma USB Mini Retro Fridge reviews

This item has saved my wife from endless hours of sleeplessness Instead of waking fully and proceeding to kitchen too retrieve her medication which requires refrigeration, she just has to reach out to the mini fridge and take her medication and thereby allowing her to go back to sleep without too much trouble. Truely amazing.

This is a fun USB desktop novelty item. It fits one can that sits on a cooler plate. Measuring the temperature of the plate with a digital thermometer returned a reading of 14.3°C in a room where the ambient temperature was 23°C. It's not going to chill a drink, just keep an already cool one that way for a bit longer. One star off for the slightly too noisy fan in the unit which disturbs an otherwise quiet desktop and four stars for fun.

Everything about is good except that it keeps things cool but doesn't cool something at room temperature

Its a cool looking addition to an empty desktop but the fridge doesnt really maintain coldness albeit around 15 other than that its better than a 20+

Nice idea, it has a metal base that the can sits on which is cool to the touch but it does not chill the drink. I think it's just not powerful enough.

Stopped working the second time I plugged it in. Not a good product.

Its basically a heat sink in a plastic container with very little thought put into it beyond that, you'll never cool much below room temp, and unless its a very warm day it will have very little effect and is very small, Basically keep your cans under your bed or behind some blankets in a cool place and get a similar temp.

I do think if this idea could be improved on just by using better materials than plastic but either way the price is vastly too much.

Takes awhile to cool down and only a few degrees off ambient temperature.

I like this little fridge. Of course you can tell the cans won't be ice cold, but it cools them to a low enough temperature to enjoy. It has a nice look on your desk too.
