Heather Xiaoquan Zhang is Senior Lecturer in Chinese Studies and Director of Postgraduate Studies, White Rose East Asia Centre, University of Leeds, UK. Qian Forest Zhang is Associate Professor of Sociology in the School of Social Sciences, Singapore Management University.
