The book is intended as a tribute to Professor Hau Lee’s seminal contributions, elevating the triple bottom line to the forefront of the Operations Management (OM) research agenda. It stimulates practitioners and researchers to engage in deeper and broader discussions about ways to strike a better balance among profit, people, and the planet.

Author Biography:

Professor Christopher S. Tang is a distinguished Professor at the University of California, Los Angeles, and Edward W. Carter Chair in business administration at its Anderson School of Management. Professor Tang is a former President of POMS (Production and Operations Management Society), as well as a Lifetime Fellow of all three major societies: INFORMS (Institute for Operations Research and Management Science), MSOM (Manufacturing and Service Operations Management Society) and POMS. He is also the former Editor-in-Chief for the journal Manufacturing and Service Operations Management.
