Razer Tartarus Expert Gaming Keypad reviews

Had some Extra cash so looked on Mighty ape to see what was available and came across the Tartarus. My Nostromo was now getting older and had served it's time extremely well so opted for this beast. Great back-lighting, great tactile feedback, the keys were very comfortable felt like i had been using them for ages. Really improved my game.

After one week the Tartarus has changed my gaming for the better by a long shot. Easy to set up and use; this solid unit is a delight.

I found that when using the Razor tartarus I was able to improve on a number of gaming features in more demanding games, however the learning curve is very steep and this gaming pad is most likely not needed for more simple games, would of been a five star if not for technical difficulties with the analog stick not working.

Good look, easy to install and customise.

This is my first device of this type. It works. I am not sure if it is for me I find myself reaching for my keyboard. It is not you baby it's me.

The only reason there it is lacking the extra star, is it is lacking the extra keys you really need. An extra row with 5 number keys on top for say, gun selection, spell selection, etc would have been ideal for this gamer pad. Though there are competing models out there with an extra row of keys, this pad with its adjustable palm rest, and easy reach keys, fast response, and programmable key layout, make it an ideal gamers pad, that is the best of its type at a comparable market price. After getting use to using it, it will make your gaming better.

Thumb activated buttons are an improvement and more logical than the earlier Nostromo
