PlayStation Move Motion Controller reviews

The technology behind the playstation move is second to none. I was amazed the first time I was playing sports champions, immediately noticing just how much better the true 1:1 controls are on the playstation move compared to the Wii remote. Even with MotionPlus, the Wii doesn't even come into the same league as the Playstation Move.

Be warned, however, that many of the launch games don't really show anything new in terms of motion controls. Of the 5 launch games, the only one I can truely recommend is Sports Champions, because it is an excellent showcase as to what the Move is capable of, but also a heap of fun to play. I also enjoyed the $19 PSN game Tumble.

The controller itself is of excellent build quality, better than the Wii Remote, and even the squishy ball on top which lights up an array of colours for different in-game purposes, allowing the PS Eye camera to track it with amazing precision.

Overall, the PS Move is without a doubt the best motion controller ever – it looks better than Xbox Kinect too, its just a matter of waiting for more games to come out – but the list of upcoming supported games is massive, so there is nothing to worry about. An absolute must-purchase! 10/10

Have been waiting for the PS3 move to come out and myself and kids think it is great, the motional controller is easy to master, even for non players like my husband and what a load of fun to be had on a rainy, cold day, well done playstation, can't wait for other titles and a fit seris to come out

The PS Move controller feels natural almost instantly, it's light ,securely fastened, and the accuracy is just brilliant.

A good excuse to get up off the couch while still having a gaming session.

Titles such as Sorcery, or Book of spells take on an insanely realistic feel, when the move translates your body moves, into on screen movements, which really puts you in the game.

Great experience for young, and old (or young at heart)making it a great way for the family to have fun together.

This is nice and light controller and cool if you have two so a friend can play and also do fighting games enjoy playing racket sports with friends keep up the good work apes 10/10

Upon buying the PlayStation Move Motion Controller I was a little skeptical about how much it would be like the wii remote where barely any movement is needed to make your character do anything. But Sony have done it a completely new way. They have integrated a 3d element that will blow your mind. Using tennis as an example. Not only will your character swing when you swing but depending how fast you swing and how much of a backswing you have will determine the speed at which the ball is hit. Also by rotating your hand while swinging can add spin to the ball. All of these factors works brilliantly in unison to give an outstanding playing experience

Very cool controller,our carpet is wearing out in front of the tv. We use the playstation lots more now.

The move controller is awesome. I like using it with the gun attachment and playing shooting games. Ive tried it on the shoot , time crisis and kung fu rider.. havent had any problems and love it. Not as good as Kinect but very cool.

Mighty Ape are simply great. From the easy website use to the price to the shipping its all brilliant. They offer the best competition to any other shops out there.

As for the move controller its great… much better calibration than the xbox kinect or wii, better graphical games and much better overall response to movements.

It has been almost two weeks since the gorgeous looking box arrived from mightyape containing my lovely new Playstation Move controller.

This technology really is very impressive.

Has better looks than the wii or kinect. Sexy, sleek, matte black with the lovely changing colours at the top :)

The Move is very nice and sleek, but still feels solid in your hand. Its curved shape allows for a comfortable grip at all times. It doesn't look like it will break easily but it still comes with a recommended safety strap just in case.

Battery life is mint with 10 HOURS per charge

I'm very happy with the controller.
