Having a Xbox 360 Pro, the HDMI cable cut off the slot underneath it because it was -that- chunky. Having this cable means that the adapter is slim lined, allowing the slot underneath to be used. Which means yay that we can have the picture HDMI and also link the Xbox up to the Home Theatre Surround Sound system.

After going to several stores and being told a) they didn't know what was needed, and b) they didn't stock it and would have to order it in, discovered MightyApe had it, placed the order and received it the next day! Thank you MightyApe!!!

I just got a new TV and Xbox 360, this HDMI cable has made such a big difference to the quality. I was playing Halo Reach and Final Fantasy XIII with 1080 and I was stunned. The HDMI cable lets you see every little graphic. I definitely recommend buying this beast of a cable.

This cable finally rid my T.V. of the annoying white fuzzy outlines around all the text and small images which made it hard to read the small print in games like Sacred 2. It really makes Halo 3 and other H.D. games a whole lot PRETTIER as well :). On the downside it took me over a day till i could use it since the audio output requires 2 AV Cables (Not included) which adds another 7 dollars to the cost, unless you don't mind playing games with no sound

Before I bought this cable my Xbox games looked like PS2 games with blurry lines and poor detail on my HD LCD TV. But now my Xbox games look crystal clear with awesome life like detail. This is the best Xbox upgrade you can buy at such a low cost. I would highly recommend ditching the standard AV cable that comes with the Xbox and upgrade to an HDMI cable if you have a HD LCD TV.

A truly great product as it allows simultaneous usage of both the HDMI video output and either RCA stereo audio or optical audio outputs. Visual quality improved compared to VGA cable output.

For xbox enthusiasts wanting to get the most out of their console this is a must. you will need to purchase audio cable separately but well worth it.

The beauty of HDMI being a digital signal means that there is almost no difference between a $10 cable and a $300 cable; it either works or it doesn't. Because of this, you're really probably better off getting a cheaper HDMI cable than this one; there's no difference at all in the quality of image or sound. In fact, there's one for sale right here on MightyApe for less than half the price of this.

Although this is a perfectly good product, I'm giving it a 2 because there's no reason not to get a cheaper cable.

I brought this at the same time as final fantasy 13 and wow, you can really see the difference in the graphics. The pictures clearer and its much easier to read onscreen text, if youve got the money you need to buy one of these.

Bought this for a friend who just got an X360 but only had the included AV cable. She's so grateful at me saving her $$$ on buying an HDMI cable!

quality is AWESOME, only one cable is needed and only needs to go into 1 port on both ends, wont interfere with sky or anything like that because of what port it goes into rather than using the red, yellow and white cable and supports good PAL60 quality i believe sooooo yeah its worth it

Its unfortunate that Xbox didn't provide one so its nice to complete the package. If it's on special then why not HDMI cables aren't cheap.

Most mall retailers in the NZ market sell “economy” HDMI cables ($16-$20 if you know where to look) for at least $40. Many don't have HDMI cables for less than $80. Given the quality of the Microsoft HDMI cable, you're getting a great cable for less than the price of a “economy” cable, which in my books is a real bargain.

Don't just buy one, buy several and keep them around for when you'll next need one.

I found this product to be fantastic it makes the game play so much better.

Cable arrived early today, plugged straight in, works perfect 1080p picture is stunning! A MUST have for gaming enthusiats and movie watchers. 10 outta 10 for service, prompt delivery and quality, I will continue to use Mighty Ape for future purchases!:)

got this the day after i ordered it, unplugged the old av cables, plugged in the HDMI cable, turned the 360 on, and yay! the visuals were amazing! thanks MightyApe for supplying this. yet again a great buy at Mighty ape. 5/5
