Did not work, blocked most of the IR rays, couldn't even bring up the kinect hub with a wave. Had to return it and get my money back, would not recommend

Couldn't get it to work at all, would recognise hands for a wave. So promising but disappointing!
The “Zoom For Kinect” doesnt work even in good lighting it has trouble picking up the player and cant fully recognise the person playing, I use the kinect in a small lounge so thought this would be ideal but I found it easier to just move a table and adject the settings. Its cheaper than wasting your money on this.
4/5 for nyko. didnt need to move the couch at all !! the only drawback from 5/5 is that the sensor is less accurate, best way to describe this: the kinect's new glasses from nyko is the wrong prescription.
There is a little bit of trial and error to get this product working, but is DOES work! Great for my small lounge.
With a small room or limited space X Box Kinect can be a pain and just not work! The Nyko Zoom fixes that and lets you operate in a far smaller area and still use the Kinect and enjoy.
I don't know many people who can use their connect without having to move furniture. This makes using it a chore rather than switch on and go. The zoom helps a lot, not as much as 40% (claimed) but enough for us that no moving of furniture is required. Result.
I had read reviews of this product saying it did not work. Well for me it has worked wonders!! In a room where previously I would have almost had to break thorough a wall to even set the closest setting on my Kinect I can now comfortably set my furthest setting and still be in front of my furniture and still have room to move.
Definatly useful in our lounge and recommended to all that dont have much space next to their kinect
what a colossal waste of money!!! bought it put it on the sensor and can never get it to work properly.. I get it set just right over the sensors where it picks me up on the kinect and then nothing… it wont calibrate! Take it off and voila it works… save your cash.
This does reduce the area needed for the kinet sensor but you have to have the right lighting and it makes my movements very shaky/hard to read.
