Comfortable to hold for long game sessions with the Switch. Buttons are solid and everything feels sturdy. About the same size as a PS4 controller and a little bit lighter. Battery feels like it lasts forever.
Arrived in one day which was awesome, Mightyape are great with shipping as usual. However I'm really not seeing what justifies this controller's price being $20 more than the other 2 first-party controllers out there. Build quality seems on the same level as the Dualshock 4 and the d-pad is terrible. Unfortunately I need gyro for Splatoon 2 so this was my only option. It's a nice controller other than the d-pad but it just seems overpriced, gyro and NFC don't warrant this large of a markup.
Good quality build and feel in the hand. Connects easily and holds a lot of charge. Wee bit expensive but easily worth it on a sale. I'd highly recommend buying one of these if you intend to play your switch docked most of the time. It's more comfortable than the joy-cons in the controller grip and better suited for big hands.
Better than xbox/ps controllers in my opinion. On par with the steam controller with similarly superior rumble.
Great controller, has an almost exact feel as the Xbox one controller. Only minor gripes is the bottom shoulder buttons are digital not analogue hence racing games etc will be a write off for it “if there are ever any”. Also the price is up there for it, definitely worth it if you are plugging the switch into the TV but otherwise I would hold out if you are like myself and always play it on portable mode.
Should've been part of the Switch package. It is that good.
This controller has a gorgeous feel to it. I've tried other switch controllers, but this one has to be the best. The others are too lightweight, and this has a beautiful heft to it. Feels great in the hand too.
I have an Xbox one as my other major console and this controller does me well. You can also in settings reprogram button configurations to make ot the same as xbox. The rumble is great too. I'd recommend this over a cheaper controller since they stip hd rumble from some of them. (As in no vibrate at all)
Arrived in one day. Great controller, a must have for any serious gamer.
This is a great investment if you're a serious gamer. To determine if you fall into this category, I suggest you keep a log of how many hours a day you spend on your Nintendo Switch. If like me, you're doing at least four days a day then, congrats, you are a serious gamer and you deserve to have this amazing controller in your life.
So much better than the standard joy con garbage, reminds me of the 360 controller.
Fantastic feeling controller with epic battery life. So comfortable and probably my favourite controller across all consoles.
Feels comfortable if you playing your switch for a long session
It’s basically an Xbox controller for your Switch. If you find the regular controllers on the smaller side this is really comfortable and responsive.
I believe this is the best one for Switch. It comes with cable, so charging it is very convenient :)
Full feature, fit very well in hands, and long-lasting battery
It is an amazing controller you can have it wired in or wireless, battery feels as though it never ends, also works with a pc. NOTE:this controller has digital not analog triggers which may be off putting to some however I prefer the digital feel.
Way better than the Joy-Cons. Joy-Con sticks end up suffering from drifting and stop working after a few months, whereas the Pro Controller sticks keep going strong.
Nintendo did a great job with this controller for the most part but the d-pad is not up to the usual standard. It's particularly noticeable when using the keyboard. It doesn't bode well for playing the classic NES and Super NES games on virtual console (if they ever getting around to sorting that out.)
