Night Angel Trilogy Boxed Set (3 books) reviews

This Trilogy has already made it into my top 10 list. The books follow Azoth/Kylar. As he goes from being a lowly street rat to a powerful wetboy (super assassin) and beyond.

They aren't always easy reading, at times there is too much detail and too many new names, making you feel like you are trying to keep up with the story, but these aren't common enough to be a real negative.

There are awesome twists, amazing action and Brent Weeks (author) isn't afraid to kill off characters, which means you're never sure just who is safe.

A definite read for any fantasy lover… though it is definitely a book for the mature. There are various adult themes at work here: murder, rape, mutilation, torture, betrayal and lots and LOTS of swearing.

The box set is relatively cheaper than buying the books individually, although: Overall, 1st book – awesome, with nice world building 2nd book – still worth your time 3rd book – aweful, but at least it provides some closure to the series

If you are to staunch to say you love harry potter, heres a book for you. Completeley captivating interesting plot and story, constantly keeping you on edge. Wont dissapoint, you want fighting, creatures you havent heard of before magic and a twist that will keep you in knots for weeks, brent weeks does a good job.a must read.

This is by far the beast book trilogy I have ever read!!

Great series at a great price

These books are possibly some of the worst I've ever read, and I've read a lot of books. It's just cringeworthy bad. The plot takes chapters to get going, and when it does it's awfully generic. The characters are shallow, and the writing even more so.

This turned out to be just the kind of book I was looking for and well worth the money.

Loved the series, kept me hooked the whole way through!

God, I love these books. The writer brings small things you forgot earlier into the story, and his characters are deep and interesting. You find yourself reading for ages without noticing and the fantasy aspects are unique & the adult themes are…adult. Must read, probably in my top3 book series.

Brent Weeks does a good job writing this fantasy series. Gritty, with a well-written plot, interesting characters, a love story, plenty of action, this trilogy is one of my favourite fantasy series ever.
