"Brilliant game part from one thing!!"
3 stars"

Game is great!!!

Only downside to this game is that they have lost the personal modification of street cars or vice versa to cop cars.. Like they use to have in Underground and Carbon.. Having body fabrication and specific engine mods..

Other than that the game is really great!!!

"Fantastic!"

This is a screamer. This game is sure to bring back what supporters EA lost after Most Wanted. The gameplay is very Criterion, hence very similar to Burnout. This is a great game, and I hope you will buy it as it is a fantastic game.

"Not a need for speed game"

This game is more Burnout than “Need For Speed”. Its cars and thats it, cars. No tuning, no modifications at all except for colour. This dissapointed me as I was expecting to buy a “Need For Speed” game, of which is generally street cars tuned and modified for racing, drifting, and drag races.

The driving style is fun and police chases are really fun with the use of different abilities for cops and racers. The cars are fast and their are some extremely nice looking cars in this game.

There is a “free-roaming” side to the game, but this is brought down by the fact that as a racer you cant be chased by police. As a cop you cannot start a police chase with racers (racers are non existent in free roaming, with cop nor racer).

If your a car enthusiast then you will most likely like this game, given the fact of the wide range of cars available to drive. Also most cars come with a price tag of real world prices.

Overall its a nice game to play a few times but after a while becomes repetitive, I havent played the online side of things thou.

"Awesome Game, spoilt by greed"

This game is the biggest blast I've had with a driving game in ages. I was expecting something good having been a fan of the Burnout series but it beat expectations. No tuning, no messing just pedal to the metal fun from the word go. Fast, close racing, cop chases, huge crashes, weapons and drifting all wrapped up in a menu/on-line system that will make the others sit up and take notice.

It's also the on-line bit that spoils an otherwise outstanding game. If you're over 18 and there is only one Xbox account going to be used to play the game then you will be sweet. If however you are under 18 or share the machine with more than 1 user then beware. The game is rated G, but my 12 year old son is deemed too young to log into the "Autolog system " even after I turned off all the family settings and changed his age on his account. I gather this is because you have to be 18 to agree to the EA terms and conditions for their account you need to set up before it all works. Without this you cannot use what is essentially a clever high score table to compare your times with friends, you can't even use the in game photo mode because it can't upload the photo to their server. And to give you a final kick in the wallet, even if you could log in – the games activation code only works for 1 account rather than 1 Xbox, you can of course buy another code from the in game shop, which can also sell (SELL!) you more car skins (which if you don't buy leaves then in your garage greyed out forever). Needless to say this leaves one very disappointed son

As an arcade racer its second to none but as look to how publishing houses and going to try and fleece us even more in the future its pretty grim

"Addictive Online Racing!"

The online hot pursuit is very addictive and so much fun, and the single player is just like the ps2 version with some minor improvements that make is sooo sweet! Recommended for any old NFS fans or Burnout fans alike!
