Nothing can beat Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke (and the rest of the original cast). This is a true classic with unforgettable songs and action. It also introduced some Disney Magic combining human and animated actors. The bonus features of the Blu-Ray displayed many “making of” stories which only served to enhance this great movie.
If you want to know how Walt Disney & his studio became so successful is that the fact which caused them to persuade the original author of its namesake can be so decisive & creative all the same time, that the final outcome of the film is an overwhelming one for the Film Industry.
Great movie for anyone
With five grandchildren ranging from 8 down to 2 you would expect a taste in movies that reflect a 21st century style of presentation. While I have the latest Pixar, Disney etc the overwhelming favourites when visiting nan and pop are the classics. Mary Poppins tops the list closely followed by Peter Pan, The Jungle Book and Alice in Wonderland. There is great anticipation here for the release of Snow White. Keep them coming Apes!
YOu will not regret this purchase.
One of the best childrens shows around
