Logitech G930 Headset reviews

Just bought Logitech wireless headset G930 and they are awesome. Never had wireless headphones before, so I guess I am easily impressed on that count. However, as far as quality goes I have never had a headphone like these! Fully surround sound so not only do you hear from left or right, but you hear in front or behind you (and all points in between). I find them comfortable to wear as well, including extended periods of time. Even wearing glasses. And best part is the over all sound quality is just fine. I do not mean ‘for a wireless headset’, I mean for any headset in this price range. It is sold as a ‘gaming’ headset but to me they suit the bill if you are after wireless for any purpose. And yes, for gaming it rocks, you can hear what direction noises originate. No one is going to sneak up behind you while you think they are in front of you. It states 3–5 days delivery but I ordered yesterday and received them today.

I've own a pair of these for a few months now. I have had no trouble with them. They are great for gaming, listening to music or watching movies.

Excellent battery time. Around 8 hours. It has a plug and play charger, so if the charge gets low you can still play.

Comes with some good basic software, including a voice changer (which can be fun in online gaming).

Good solid frame (I sat on it by accident, and it was fine, I do not recommend testing this though).

I've only given it a 4-Star. Mainly because I am a hard marker. To get five stars really requires something special in my book. It's Damn Good, but I wouldn't commit a crime to get a pair.

This headset does everything as advertised and has a great sound in both stereo and 7.1 surround-sound mode. However, if you run Windows 7 64-bit you need to be aware that the software and drivers can be very problematic. Logitech forums are full of complaints and my own experience bears these out. You need to run the software in order to get 7.1 surround-sound. The software needs to be run with either UAC switched off (not recommended for security) or as an administrator. Surround sound intermittently switches off which can be disconcerting in games. However, despite the hassles, the sound in games is fantastic. You really will hear enemies creeping up behind you and sound alone will keep you informed of where any followers may be. If you run a 64-bit system do yourself a favour and search out the issues before committing yourself to a purchase. It's a great headset and this combined with a very good price led me to taking a chance on it. You just need to weigh up the pros of great sound against the cons of the ongoing hassles and decide whether your own frustration level can handle it. I'd give a five stars if it worked without problems on Win 7 64-bit.

I had a pair of Logitech G35s, and went to the G930 purely for the advantage of being wireless. It seemed great at first, but the headset regularly disconnects and reconnects from it's wifi adapter, leading to audio dropout. Sometimes it can go a few hours in between, sometimes it is only a few minutes. Had a replacement sent, which have the same issue. From a multitude of forum posts, I"m far from alone in this issue. These would be fantastic headphones if they just stayed connected.

Replaced with a pair of h800s, which are far more reliable, though not quite as good audio wise.

A fantastic headset in almost all regards; wonderful sound quality, great battery life, good range and reception, useful features, etc.

It's only held back from being perfect by little things (e.g the on/off switch is a pain to use, the microphone needs to be turned way up, charging plug is stiff, etc) – but that's just nit-picking.

If you are looking for a great wireless headset, this is it. Very happy with this purchase.

These are just amazing …

Great sound, great quality, really happy with them.

At the start, which was about 5 months ago they were great, however now they are terrible. When ever the charging cable is plugged in it cuts out every 5 seconds, so I can only use it when its wireless. I find this extremely inconvenient for myself as I would like it to work great for both wired and wireless, now its getting ridiculous and unusable. If you want a headset that lasts a long time, definitely don't get this.

I bought this headset and a week later it began cutting out at random times, I found that this was a common issue with many other users. Other than that it has great quality sound, but I will be definately be buying a different headset that is not logitech.

I bought this headset after the head part of my G35 broke (real issue with that model).

I've had this headset for a couple of years and its been very solid. One of the better purchases i've made.

Bought these for gaming, sound amazing literally hear everything in the game , battery lasts forever (10 hours) and u can use while recharging :D! voice changer is hilarious and u can change ur music from a rooms away while listening to it, if u get one of these u honestly wont regred it :)

These are great compared with other headphones I've owned. I really like the buttons and how they can be programmed to do whatever you want, and by default that is to Pause/Play, Next Track, and Prev Track for media players, that means I can walk around my room for example and can change song on the go.

The 7.1 Virtual Surround works as it should and makes gaming easier to differentiate the origin of a specific sound.

Overall the sound quality is great for gaming, and the wireless functionality just makes the headset more dynamic to use.

Fantastic head set. Don't think twice about getting them. Comfortable and a great sound. Buttons so you can wirelessly adjust the volume, tracks etc.

They're leather so they might get hotter in summer, but as of right now, I get multiple hours of gaming out of them and they're still comfortable.

I thoroughly enjoy this headphones. Still getting used to having to charge it, and trying to sweep away a non-existent wire. The 7.1 surround sound is wasted with my slow gaming reactions, but does add a new dimension to the sounds in games.

This Headset rocked my world.. Black Ops 2 never sounded so good! However, the windows 8 x64 drivers \ logitech gaming software stops detecting the headset after a reboot. This is a known issue in Win 7 x64 but I thought they may have fixed for Win 8. I reinstalled my Win 7 Ultimate just to test and it works every time!! Man this headset was worth the trouble. So comfy, so precise. My gaming experience = amazing.

The first thing I noticed when using these for the first time was the incredible sound. By far the best sounding headphones/headset I've used. Comfortable enough and great noise cancellation. Also it's a nice feeling being wireless. The battery life is pretty good. And again, awesome sound.

But I've had huge issues with the connection dropping out constantly. Sometimes it drops out a couple of times a minute and it takes 4 or 5 seconds to reconnect. Also from time to time I can hear beeps and buzzing. Very, VERY frustrating. Even as I write this and listening to music it has cut out again. I've been told it's a wireless interference issue, which means it's probably my wifi router doing it. I'm working on the solutions I've read online, but I'm pretty disappointed that they have these issues. For the money I paid for them they shouldn't have things like this happening and I may look at returning them if the issues aren't fixable.

Not sure I'd recommend these. Not worth the hassle.

Pros:

Battery Life is good. When it works it is fine.

Cons:

Constant disconnection and reconnection issues. Constant crackling. 7.1 surround sound plays up fairly often.

I had bought this headset for my son and he could not stop talking about it the first day he used it. He really likes it in every way especially the wireless! I have seen him walk around the house with them on a few times and im sure he loves the freedom of not having a cable!

One quick google search of “g390 issue” is more than enough to give you an idea of the problems that rise.

It's a great headset, But if you buy it, Be prepared to have issues. Despite all the software bugs, It's still usable. 2/5 stars

Quick easy setup, great sound, would recommend

I've had these babies for over 3 months now. Their sound quality is amazing. It is incredibly immersive. The ear pads are very comfortable and I look forward to wearing them because of this. I've been told that my voice sounds crystal clear and have been likened to a radio presenter. The auto mute when the mic is up is amazingly intuitive and has saved me so many times. The only downside is the virtual surround sound. When using the surround sound (however only with Pandora internet radio) the sound vacillates between surround sound, left side and right side. But this is has only been with Pandora so it does not really matter. I have noticed that the battery life does indeed last for 10 hours but most often 9– 9 1/2 . Note that the surround sound drains the battery faster and it only lasts around 8 hours if I have it on constantly. The range on it is also impressive and it can reach between the two stories of my house. I have noticed that the end pieces where the headset swivels seem slightly weaker tan they should be. I have had no troubles yet but I would not like to strain them nor accidently turn them the wrong way. I would definitely recommend buying these!

After receiving the well packaged headset, I immediately set it up and then ran it through a wide variety of tests. Surround sound works perfectly, mic feedback works well too. The mic quality isn't top notch, however, it is good for gaming and general Skype usage, but not professional recording.

Although I haven't had a chance to test the battery properly, it has lasted nearly 8 hours on a single charge and I have no battery warning yet. The range is quite far too, not that I need it.

Because of my large head (and large ears) most headsets end up hurting over a long period of time. This headset has plenty of room for your ears and expands far enough to cover any size head.

Overall I would recommend this headset to anyone wanting to buy a surround sound gaming headset without spending a fortune.

For the $140 I paid, this headset is brilliant. The wireless connection is very stable except when going past machines such as active microwave ovens. The virtual surround sound works quite well and is great for any game. Only problem with this headset is its slight problem with the current version of flash player and Mozilla Firefox. This issue is easily solved by installing an older version of Flash. Overall very happy with the quality of the product and would recommend to any gamer searching for a more expensive headset.

Was working fine for a couple of days. But then the connection started to drop out. After plugging the dongle directly into the computer and not the base it seems to have solved the problem. Otherwise a great headset.

Perhaps rather spontaneously purchased these, but they are amazing. Haven't noticed any difference in quality to wired speakers, has never cut out unless I go downstairs and on the other side of a concrete block wall. They stay charged for a reasonably long time, though I haven't really timed it. You get plenty of warning when they are about to run low, and all you do is simply plug in the cable and carry on gaming — charge pretty quick too!

They also work simply by plugging the receiver directly into a usb port, which is convenient when I swap to my MacBook Pro (everything works out of the box).

Pros: Good range. Excellent Comfort. Very clear microphone. Easy to use software. Lots of functional gems (such as folding away the mic mutes the mic).

Cons: No mute sound button (but there is a volume wheel). I just like the instant mute other devices give me.

Comfort: Have just worn them for 6 hours straight and nothing is sore, overheated, or uncomfortable.

Sound: I don't game, so this is just music and voice. Music is massive dynamic range, very little is lost. I've had better music headphones, but considering it is a headset made for games and I can't complain it get's a 10.

Buttons: Buttons aren't important on a headset to me. It has three programable buttons. I've programmed one to answer calls as I'm walking around the house, but if I was gaming I have a keyboard = why would I touch my head-

Physical Range: Impressive. I can go to the kitchen and make a coffee without losing signal – I'm happy. It's bluetooth not infrared crap – VERY important.

Battery: I love no batteries. It just charges. It even has instructions on how to replace the rechargeable battery if needed. However I don't know if I'm just using way more cause I'm listening to music rather than gaming, but it tends to over estimate how long I have left before I need to change. (9 hours turned into 3 pretty quick).

Wireless, has extra buttons Runtime could be a little better but being able to quickly whack in the charging cable to keep on gaming is a very nice feature. Battery can also be replaced which helps prolong the life of the headet that much more

Very good headset. Easy to set up, good range reception. A good purchase.

Purchased to Replace the hard wired version that took a beating and finally snapped(my fault for picking up by mic boom). Great weight balance and Quality as expected from the Logitech Series.

Very good sound and extended wear comfort. Decent range and works well with all VoIP applications on top of all of the games I play. Great battery life too.

Bought these for my son. He uses them for gaming. Loves the sound quality and comfortable to wear for long periods.

This headset started off great and I was very pleased with it but things went downhill very quickly.

Within the first month I was having driver issues and hearing loud high pitch sounds as well as the headset not picking up the wireless signal (even when plugged in for charging)

Now if I want to use it I will sometimes have to uninstall the drivers and restart my computer then plug it in and unplug it until it works.

It isn't worth the money I paid for it and if I had the money for anything else or any other option I would not use it ever again.

This headset is great! I can walk around the house and still listen to music or be on a skype call. Only issue I have had is the headset would randomly disconnect during media or gaming :( otherwise a great headset and mighty ape replaced the headset when I mentioned this issue and sent a replacement :)

I've had these headphones for about 4 months now. The battery life is about 8–10 hours. The sound is fine, as is the mic. When first bought the wireless link would drop out every hour or so for about two/three seconds, but that glitch happens very infrequently now (like once every couple of days). Though they felt heavy at first, and the pleather ear cups cause you ears to get sweaty I often find myself making cups of tea etc with them on, having completely forgotten that I am wearing them. The range of the signal covers my two bedroom flat without dropout, but drops out at the foot of the stairwell (third level). The thing I would say of this product (and of all the logitech products that I have) is that they are let down in their finish: that is, they always feel a bit light-weight – a bit cheap. Do not mistake this as being cheap, as they are robust within the parameters of what they are meant to do and they do their job well. Overall it is a good product.

Setting the windows sound settings to bass boost 9db at 75hz really brings out these headphones (at least in my opinion). I'm not sure I particularly like the surround sound emulation, at least for music. But if you want a good set of headphones, and you don't want wires, and there aren't too many others in the same room – these are for you.

Update: 3 years on, the sound is still great. But now, the band has broken so I have decommissioned them.

Great product! Mic is excellent, noise cancelling headphones and surround sound all perfect, definitely recommend this product. Have used them in the same room as three other identical headsets and receivers and still worked perfectly. Had issues with supplier however. I was told they were in stock and would ship the next day…they didn't ship for a week, which I had to ring up about to discover. Delivery then took another week. Well priced, so I am not too unhappy. Make sure that they are in stock if you need them quickly.

Really loving these – good ear cover, so even larger ears will fit. Only issue I've found is that 2 in close proximity may interfere with each other.

Works well, Breaks super easily 1st problem came in one week of having it. The thing wouldnt damn shut off. Next within a month the wireless connection kept dropping after that it just loses connection all the time. The mic mute light function is bad. Sometimes while my mic is turned on the light just comes on so its hard to know if its working or not. Countless of times. This headset is the most useless in the world. Its not worth the $200. DON'T BUY THIS GARBAGE

I bought these at top price and they have never worked. TheLogitech forums are full of people complaining about the audio dropping.

When they do work the sound quality is decent and they very comfortable.

Vol control stops working.

Charge lasts 4 hours max (no battery or swap out system).

The drivers are however shocking as is the Logitech software which forces you to manually select profiles and causes havoc on windows 7.

Not worth the pain people, seriously there are better wireless headsets out there.

These have superb sound quality and are really easy to set up once you have your software installed. Sounds are clear and defined. Only 2 things prevent me from giving this the full 5 stars.

1. There is no support for these on PS3. :-(
2. They are quite heavy. After 2 or 3 hours of wearing them I get quite sore on the top of my head where the band sits.

Both minor in my books. Definitely recommended.

Great sound, terrible drivers

I've bought this headset twice now, the first time, second hand and it lasted around a year with amazing quality until I was constantly running into charging issues and battery life problems. The second purchase was brand new as I was amazed with the quality of sound, however, I did expect it to last a bit longer than 2.5 years before I was running into charge issues again. Attempted battery replacement which worked well for a while, however now back to the same original issue of poor charge life. Overall amazing sound quality with a decent mic, however dont expect it to last you too long!

Great audio quality is the only thing that hasn't been problematic with the G930. Soon after purchasing it I had problems with wireless connectivity and had to resort to wired. Also very frail, plastic mount around the air piece snapping while taking off. Would not recommend to anyone who wants wireless connectivity.

Mine lasted almost 2yrs. Then the plastic snapped around where the headphone connects to the head band. I was as gentle as ever with these headphones always placing them down softly and putting them on my head softly and even more gentle with the charging cable dock. They still broke so Ive upgraded to the G933. I still gave 5 stars because they worked well and most things only last 2yrs nower days anyway which is pathetic and cheap!

After having my second set of these headphones for around a year, and after my first review, I seem to have come across a common issue with these headphones. The plastic that connects the ear cups to the band, particularly on the left hand side, is very fragile and seems to break after one year. So after one year, and a second pair of headphones, I'm back at having a broken pair. Needless to say, I'm not giving up wireless headphones due to this break and will be getting a pair of g933's instead of the g930's. Here's hoping this issue will be solved on the g930's.

I initally was happy with these headphones. Good sound, good mic, comfortable fit. Good wireless range. Unfortunately, the build quality is…how to put this…just a little bit bad.

In four years, I've had four of these break. A key weakpoint is the connector where the cord plugs into the headset. This WILL break or stop working. There will be a lot of random disconnects and reconnects. Random crackling/buzzing noise that will appear and vanish for weeks at a time.

To save yourself and MightyApe a lot of time, money and frustration, I recommend you keep on shopping.

I really love these headsets, they are light but with some amazing quality. These are my first Closed ear cups and so they do get a bit hot/sweaty in long gaming sessions but I really enjoy being ‘closed’ off. I play in the lounge room and my wife although also a gamer likes to watch TV and this was always a distraction for me, also the open cup sometimes my wife would hear the shooting and chat. With the Logitech g930 this is no longer a problem. I love the speaker to pivot up out of the way and then mute. The system just works well and downloading the software is just putting cream on the cake which makes it better.

Mic quality is bad and the headset itself is very squeaky in terms of the leather rubbing when you move. But sound quality is very good and wireless dock is very handy.

Firstly just thought I'd say I have windows 7 64-bit and have had no issues…so any previous bugs must have been removed with newer drivers being installed.

Pretty happy with the purchase so far.

It's very comfortable to wear, sounds really good with bass, has a good range (I can walk around the whole house with no signal drop) and battery appears good so far.

Only downside I will say in my own opinion is after testing with multiple video playing programs and different games…I find the headphones do sound very rich and good quality…but don't really give that “surround sound” feeling even with games/movies that support 5.1/7.1 and Dolby, I still don't believe I can hear people behind me in game or anything like fancy that, it's more like adding a 3D effect to the sound, but not 100% surround-like.

Note: I tried 2–3 of the product, same issues throughout.

Pros:

Decent Range. Sturdy. Multiple buttons

Cons:

Cuts out constantly. Battery seems small and lacking. The Cutting out makes online gaming and chatting more difficult.

Conclusion:

Just get the wired version.

After just over a year of use one of the headphones failed I suspect the analogue connection between the two sides failed. I'm pleased to say though that the MA and/or Logitech really stood by the product and replaced the entire unit.

They set I had had a lot of playtime and were still very reliable. I was able freely roam the house without connection issues also.

Very happy overall with the product.

Purchased for my son who uses them for gaming on his computer. The sale price meant he could get great quality for an affordable price.

Has some problems with windows 10 but aside from that it's the best headset I've had

Ok first off I had this headset for no more then a month, and the issues started, even after I made sure I had all the right drivers, the latest version of logitech gaming software to date etc, it would still frequently cut out when it would decide to work, any other time even once it was seletced as defult audio device I couldnt get any sound on most occasions even though it would pick up my pc's sound test(main pc speakers were fine).While yes they are comfortable, and when I did get sound it was good,If your currently using windows 7 ultimate 64bit like me then stay away from this headset. Having said all this the monkeys at mighty ape provided exceptional customer service once contacted, and refunded my purchase.

Great wireless headset, good sound and great for gaming. Also basic buttons to find/use on it.

Given them 5 stars, the only thing I would have liked is a warning beep when battery running low rather than just cutting out.

Not compatible with PS4. The sound comes through but very low. The programable buttons dont work. The volume switch doesn't work, can be turn up/down on the PS4 only.

I enjoy wearing them but I had to download a version of the Logitech Gaming Program from early 2013 to stop the audio from popping on loud audio. It also has no warning noise for low battery, it beeps and then dies.

Ive had my Logitech G930's for about 3 years now. They just broke yesterday (microphone snapped off). The “leather” ear cups are also completely worn and shredded. Dont expect them to last more than 2/3 years.

They were an OK headset but there were too many annoying issues. The wireless only lasted about 4 hours, then they needed to be charged for an equal amount of time. Thus making them mostly a wired headset. Also I found it difficult to connect to the wireless receiver. It would normally take me several attempts of pressing/holding the on button for them to connect. I think by the end the surround sound didnt work either.

I dont really recommend these. Logitech are a good brand (had other logitech products that have worked really well) but these were not worth the price considering the battery life and being wired half the time. I just bought the SteelSeries H wireless from MA and im hoping they will be great.

Constant disconnections, volume changes on its own, sound glitching. Support from logitech appears to be non-existant. A simple google search shows hundreds of people have the same issues and there is no fix.

I recently got this headset and it is perfect and that is all I have to say.

Very comfortable headset. Good sound and plug and play makes life easy. Using on windows 7 pro 64 bit. These are my second pair, my first one lasted 5 years. Extra ear cushions can be brought on ebay for cheap. Best headset I've ever used.

Great quality, great price, great range. Worth getting.

Sound quality is great and is pretty good at blocking out background noise. They feel great and can be worn for hours at a time.

The software to download from logitec doesn't seem to work. The headset works fine but I think the download is for the 7.1 surround sound. Otherwise its just a good wireless stereo headset

Love it! couldn't be more happy, well worth the price.

I have owned this headset for roughly 4 months..

During this time frame they have had horrendous connection issues.. For no reason it will drop out for up to 10 seconds every 10 to 15 minutes. This is an area with no other radio signals which could cause disturbance..

On the Logitech site there appears to be no true support for this product on windows 8.1 and there has been no response from Logitech on the many threads which discuss the connection issue.

It is also a problem I have been unable to return the headsets over as it is not consistent and noticeable unless you are using them frequently.

Besides this they do no work with the PS4 which original Logitech said they would..

I would warn any buyer from purchasing this headset as the issue is something known to Logitech but they have chosen to ignore..

P.s This issue should in no way be seen as negative towards Mighty Ape.

Bought this thinking it may be a mistake running on Windows 7 Pro 64bit but works extremely well, Software read fine had zero issues. Best headphones I have ever owned with such excellent range!!!!! would recommend for all gamers

Overall a great headset. Would have given 5 stars if it was built with a better quality plastic. Current material is light weight, but feels cheap to the touch. Surround sound option does not work 100% of the time, with the occasional loss of surround channels. Otherwise a good buy.

I ordered a headset and it came very quick, packaging was great. It came in a large sturdy box with packaged air for padding and a discount coupon.

Its a really good headset, easy to setup, If your looking for a headset this one is the best, if you want to use it for ps3 ps4 xbox it will not work,

The headset blocks out all external noise. Terrific sound.

I've had these for a Year now and I can comfortably say they are the best Wireless Headset I've owned.

I got the G930 when my $300 Turtle Beach headset turned into a paper weight.

Pro: +Extremely Comfortable 5/5 – The large ear cups mean your ears do not get pressed against your head. The flex in the Headset is also perfect, even after long sessions it never becomes uncomfortable.

+Sturdy Construction 4/5 – I have a 3YO that has messed with these a few times and they have never failed. Only reason I deducted 1 point is because the Ear Foam covers have peeled almost completely off, don't let this put you off as they are $8 for a replacement set.

+Good Range 5/5 – I can get around my whole house and only lose signal in the furthermost corners of the 4 Bed House, usually after 3 or 4 walls. I have Mowed the lawn with these on.

+Sound is spot on 5/5 – I mostly play BF4 which is why I wanted a good Headset, the surround is spot on and even at high volume I don't any distortion. My wife has often asked me to turn it down as she can hear my game while she watches TV. They also block out a lot of outside noise.

+Mic 5/5 – The Mic is clear and comes through strong and even, its flexible and durable.

+Battery Life 5/5 – Usually a full day of usage before they need a recharge, which is easy with the included USB charging cable that is crazy long.

+Aesthetics 5/5 – I think they look fantastic, sleek, matte, no over the top LED's.

The bad:

• Ear Covers Peeling – But like I said, under $10 for replacements.
• Does not come with a stand – This is mainly an annoyance because I try to keep the gaming station neat.

Other: The Logitech software that the G930 takes advantage of is really good and I've found it easy to use and beneficial. The Padding on the top band of the Headset is also replaceable but after 1 year it is still 100%. Volume ‘Roller’ is handy and is easy to quickly adjust. Mic Mute is a handy button.

I've recommended these to everyone I know when they are looking for a new Headset, for the Price you just cant beat what you are getting. And 5.1 is well and truly enough for Gaming. I would go as far as saying these are the perfect gaming Headset.

Great headset but the battery died after 18 months and to get if fixed will probably cost more than buying a replacement headset as the batteries are only available in the USA and it costs $40 bucks to ship at $14 buck battery!!!!!

I had a set of these for about 1.5 years and they performed fantastically for PC gaming and movies etc. The only flaw was the plug in the earpiece that the charger cable plugs into. After extensive use the plug broke free of the circut board inside the head set. The headset worked perfectly but I was unable to get an electrical connection to charge it and the connections were too small for me to repair with solder. If you buy this headset be gentle with the charge cable (I was less than gentle) and it will last a very long time! The fact that I am buying a second set is an indication of how happy I was with the first set!

Absolutely worth the money. Perfect quality audio, sounds AMAZING, and is wireless. Easy to mute as well as you can just wind the mic up and it automatically mu­tes.

First time buyer of wireless headset. The range is pretty decent, especially if you want to run into the kitchen for a drink or snack without missing out on chatting to your mates.

The usb has terrible connection issues with Windows 8.1 as most of the time it won't recognize the usb at all. Seems to fix it self eventuality and goes on the Fritz again.

The sound it self is pretty decent, including the surround sound well. Fit's pretty comfortably on ears without any major soreness over the course of a few + hours of gaming.

Installing the software to support it is a must as well, improves the headset overall.

Works pretty well. It does its jobs quite nicely. However, sometimes there'll be random disconnections for a few seconds. But it fixes itself quickly. Obviously not particularly good for listening to music but it's great for games and movies. The surround system and the voice effects are awesome. And they don't hurt my ears even for a considerable length of time.

Considering the price I've paid for this wireless headset, I think it's a good deal. I don't regret it! I would recommend for dollars around $170 in the current market.

Really great – good battery life, good sound, comfortable – the only thing I've found even remotely wrong is the power button is quite hard to push.

I was really impressed with these headphones. They are so comfy, even with glasses, and really enclose your ears well so they block out lots of outside noise! The surround sound makes my ears feel like they're trippin, like some sort of sensory ear-adventure. I also really like the little dongle station thing it comes with, I can just leave it on my desk and plug and play when it needs to charge. The range is pretty good too, I can raid my fridge while listening to my sweet beats, and now no-one in my house can talk to me because I can go everywhere in my house with these babies. That being said, wireless has a slight lag in the feedback, so I would recommend turning off the voice feedback when in-game so you aren't distracted by the sweet sounds of your own voice. Another thing is that they are obviously designed for giant dude heads, so they aren't the prettiest, and I cant make them any smaller so they sit kinda weird on my neck sometimes. Still comfy tho. But I can press all the buttons and sound like a space troll dude mid-game so I'm happy.

These came up when searching for PS3 headsets, when being just a newbie buying my first headset I brought the wrong ones … What a waste :( don't make the same mistake I did, on the other hand love all might apes other products that I have received in the past, nice fast delivery!

Sound is good when it fully works. Find I have crackling sound through both ear phones and withing one month the mic arm won't stay up. For the price you can get a better product. I expect more from Logitech

This headset has amazing sound quality, really comfortable, and has epic customization. I would recommend this headset to anyone who is into good sound quality and gaming :D

Do not buy If you have windows 7 64 bit! I have had endless troubles with it popping and crackling and cutting out all together. I thought I fixed the problem by installing an older driver but the problem still exists. Apparently it is a known problem that Logitech doesn't seem interested in fixing.

Sound is amazing

Also good for music playback and freedom of movement. No dropouts noticed; except when using it next to an active microwave oven.

Bought these for my son for his birthday. He loves them, sound great, confortable. great value.

Good audio/mic quality, except I have had sooo many problems with this. I find that if I have for example a game open and listen to music or in a Steam call at the same time, the audio for the game and music is stuttery. Battery life is good, even on surround sound mode. Headset disconnects from USB at random times. The range of the wireless is pretty poor. So apart from those annoyances, the audio and mic are not too bad.

Headset came in 4 days (from newzealand) which is faster than I thought it would be, came in great packaging over all good service!

This headset is my first gaming headset and I love that you can switch between stereo and 7.1 surround. The only things that let it down is mic quality and the software on the CD ROM doesn't allow you to program the buttons properly (I find looking for relevant software on the Logitech site helps with this problem)

Nice and light not as heavy as it looks, wireless much better then wired but with this model you get the best of both worlds. Reasonable priced for quality.

One of the best features is being wireless and wireless for 10 hours at that. With a quick charge time of 3 hours you can plug and play while you are charging or leave your computer in sleep mode and you will be charged up for the next heavy battle.

Voice morphing and a crystal clear microphone means you can have some warped fun in chat and still be heard clearly by teammates without having to yell down the mic or tell your housemates to keep it down.

Yes power charge cord to headset is a little stiff, but it is sturdy. The G buttons (x3) can be assigned to a vast range of functions and you can easily tweak the bass and surround sound to find your ‘perfect’ harmony.

My only regret is not jumping at these earlier, my ears have been missing out.

Finally received my G930's today and can say I am extremely impressed with the product itself. Very clear audio and the ability to change between surround sound and normal is excellent

This headset is the best headset I've ever owned in this price range (Astro A50), I can't fault this headset much at all, the only thing I've kind of noticed that is kinda bad is the mic sometimes needs to be turned up a bit, but that just a tiny thing thats easily fixed. Other than that headset is a beast and I could not recommend it more for people shopping in this price range.

This is a very reliable product, good charge times and good audio.

The drivers are stable and the hardware works just as is intended.

The downside is that the Logitech Gaming Software has been poorly written and does not function well with this hardware.

If you are having constant disconnect issues, simply exit the Logitech Gaming Software and the issues will go away.

Works seamlessly with Windows 7, the provided cables and such are great (very convenient little “dock” thing comes included), and the headphones themselves are a breath of fresh air after having been tethered to wired-surround headphones for so long. No fiddly connectors that get kinks in them and break, either. Fantastic product.

Probably one or the best headsets I have ever had and wireless makes it just that much better!

Very pleased with this headset for gaming, music not as good as others but for the money its not bad. I found the battery doesn't last the 10 hours though, usually only get about 1/2 that. I do have them on full volume most the time though and use the mic.

Having said that, am very pleased with them, they were a good buy especially at the price.

I love this headset so much, this is my second pair (leather padding was peeling and the microphone had been snapped and taped up by yours truly), and even after 3 years it still sounded exactly the same. Looking forward to another (at least) 3 years.

These headphones have excellent sound and work well. The only minor thing I don't like is switching them on and off, as you have to hold down a small button for a few seconds. However, the quality of sound through them is really great.

I bought a pair of these about a year ago, maybe even longer. They still work and have yet to fall apart even considering I use these nearly daily. Build quality is good and headphones are sturdy.

Excellent sound and awesome bass. There are better units out there, but 2–3 times the price. For the current sale price, these are more than worth purchase.

I have had my head phones now for 14 months. At the start they were great, as most new products are. But 14 months on I will have to replace them due to several issues. 1) Mic boom spilt at the joint, 2) volume wheels does not always work. 3) battery life is so poor that I have to keep it on the charge wire. 4) The material around the ear pieces have all disintergrated. Not what I would expect for a device of this price.

I bought it back in Feb 2012, first thing to go was a little plastic piece where the cup swivels 3 months ago, and now the right hand side cuts in and out due to a wiring issue that started when I cranked a song with heaps of bass to full noise. I'm probably going to buy another one, because the Creative Recon3D Omega is too expensive.

Pro's, long battery life, wireless, 3rd party software lets you reprogram the buttons, very comfortable

Cons, hear a high pitch frequency when charging, not very robust

These are great, they replaced my broken G35. I guess the only nit pick is that the Battery Life is short but you can still plug them in and charge while you play. Otherwise its great. Can get to every corner in my flat and here music perfectly and even use the toilet while talking to my friends. (totally mature :P) Great Product, deffinality worth getting

At first this headset was amazing, very loud at full volume, but now the sound has quietened down for no reason at all, i've only had it for about a month.

At first it was great and cheap but if this happens to yours…

The capabilities for this are great. Look at the other glowing reviews if you want some good news, but I have a word of warning:

Not all headsets are in perfect condition from new. The one I first bought would disconnect regularly (even sitting at its receiver), its volume control would stop working, and it took longer to charge than it lasted. All of which were solved by going down to the wired G35 instead. Looking the issues online showed that while these problems were isolated (not all headsets had them) they had been found in several headsets across production (a faulty batch or two got through). Great when it works, but you may risk having to send for a replacement.

A problem I found with both G90 and G35 however… It doesn't really have ‘stereo’ for a lot of programmes, for flash videos, and some games. Even with the switch in stereo, the audio heavily favours the right ear. Don't know if it is driver related, or both headsets I got were a bad batch.

After scanning the net for reviews on wireless headsets, Logitech came up on top. Trumps models by manufacturers such as Sennheiser, Steelseries and Razer. Just incredible.

Since I use this headset,,, I got 100% in my game I almost throw my speaker away… Good at music , movie … And THE GAME

Comfortable after extended use, good microphone, and good audio balance. Very impressive work. The only annoying thing is having to disable my Logitech speakers when I want to use the headphones.

These headphones have great audio quality. The only thing I have against them is being interrupted by the wireless channel on my router which when I found out was the problem was fixed with ease.

Also nothing really to do with the product but mine arrived with a bit of damage. There was a loose part internally that rattles but from what I can tell doesn't actually affect it performance.
