Author Biography:

Stamatios Papadakis has been a postdoctoral researcher in Educational Technology, emphasizing mobile learning, at the Department of Preschool Education at the University of Crete, Greece, since 2016. His scientific and research interests include the study of mobile learning, especially on using smart mobile devices and their accompanying mobile applications (apps) in Preschool and Primary Education, focusing on developing Computational Thinking and students' understanding of numbers. Furthermore, his research interests include ICT in education, novice programming environments and teaching of programming in Primary and Secondary Education (novice programmers). He has published over 120 articles in international conferences and journals and has served on the program committees of numerous international conferences. He has published in journals such as "Computers & Education" (Elsevier), "Education and Information Technologies" (EAIT) (Springer) and "Early Childhood Education Journal" (Springer) and edited books in Springer and IGI Global. In 2020, 2021, and 2022, Papadakis was included in the world's most outstanding scientists ranking. The selection is based on the top 100,000 scientists by c-score (with and without self-citations) or a percentile rank of 2% or above in the sub-field. This work uses Scopus data provided by Elsevier through ICSR Lab (https://www.elsevier.com/icsr/icsrlab).
