I had heard of inFamous but had never played it. It wasn't until it was offered as a free download via PlayStation Network that I actually played the game, and I was blown away. Probably one of my favourite gaming experiences to date. So naturally, I was eager to get my hands on the sequel. The Good: The graphics have been hugely improved and look phenomenal. The new powers you acquire are amazing and truly make you feel like an unstoppable force. With two different ways to play (good or evil) you will get hours of game play out of it, and it's fun to just run around the city. The Bad: The story was pretty poor. I just couldn't invest myself in the characters like I did with the first one. In inFamous I truly felt sorry for Cole as one can only imagine the responsibility when given such a gift, and the twist at the end made me drop my draw in the sheer creativeness of the story telling. But with inFamous 2 it seems like they just through a couple of ideas together and said “Meh, it'll do”.

In saying that, this is not a movie, it's a game (and a very good one at that).

This game should be on wii it would be the awesomest game EVER!!!

Improves on the first in every way and even has a great multiplayer addition that adds loads more content. If you love superpowers and beating bag guys this is for you

They pretty much took the first game, which was a 5 star game, and made one of the best sequels… The powers are unbelievably better, so many upgrades and longer gamplay, makes this game brilliant!

The long-awaited sequel to inFamous, inFamous 2 is generally a great all-round game for those who like zapping plenty of bad guys with a variety of unique powers. Cole McGrath, the protagonist, is flung into the treacherous city New Marais, swarming with enemies all over the place. What is exciting is that the story line links with its predecessor and has quite a few great twists. The awesome ‘karmic’ choices, similar to inFamous are enhanced to create and almost choose your own challenge warp to the story line.

The gameplay is excellent with rich environments that boast colour and depth and, although only in 720p, the graphics are not to be laughed at. The detail in the enemies you fight, right down to their blood-filled corneas adds that sense of realism and amazement to what Sucker Punch has created. Furthermore, the sound quality outputting to an HDMI TV is great and the range of different ambience noises from monsters breathing laboriously or sending waves of bolts out is right on the mark in terms of crisp, clear, realistic noises.

With a stunning range of powers and abilities, you'll be hovering, blasting, zapping and grinding your way around New Marais in no time.

The only downside to the game is if you you don't like regularly tapping the R1 button and trying to change your power in such a quick fire situation, but most people can get over it quickly if you love RPG adventure games with a twist.

I would definately recommend this game to anyone, whether you have played the first game or not.

Great game, a must have for PS3.

After having played the first Infamous I was left wanting more. The storyline was good. Infamous 2 has a good storyline that stays true to the Infamous name. The graphics are amazing, as is the gameplay. A few times the camera wasn't too good but it didn't affect the overall enjoyment of the game at all.

The only thing that I would maybe criticise is the hours. Personally it didn't take me too long to complete this game. However there is UGC that you can make yourself or play, which makes the replay value better.

If you've played the first Infamous and enjoyed it, definitely get this one.

How do you make a great game better- Add heaps more powers, awesome enemies and epic graphics. Thats Infamous 2 and it works, superb game

Great graphics, gameplay and story. If you liked the first inFamous this is a improvement over that and one of my favorite PS3 games on the market.

If you loved Infamous, you have to have this new PlayStation 3 exclusive.

Building on the original Infamous, this game takes Cole to the city of new Marais after being temporarily defeated by the BEAST in his previous home.

In the time before the beast reaches new Marais, you seek out blast cores to further advance your powers so you can defeat him once and for all when it arrives, but Cole is not alone, facing the Malicia, Mutants, and people who just don't like you, you must choose to protect the people, or punish them… It could decide your fate.

This game is great because it carrys on right from where the first story ended.

I also like it because you start off with more powers than in the start of the first one and your powers get much better.

Overall I am very impressed with this game.

Great game, was unsure of purchasing as I havent played inFamous1, but after 10mins of game play I was hooked and went and also purchased the first game.

The storyline is great, the graphics are phenomenal, and the overall experience is BREATHTAKING!!

Has a lot of side missions so the potential for this game is limitless…
