Reading the reviews you would think this was a terrible game. Now, it's not a great game but, it is a good fun hack n slash with the occasional puzzle.

It's lite on the RPG elements. There are no levels but, you can upgrade various abilities through killing the monsters in a particular way (melee, ranged, magic).

There's loot (weapons and some armour) and gold. The gold is not used in the campaign. Instead it's used when building maps in the crucible.

I haven't used the crucible yet in any real depth so I can't comment on that.

Definitely worth your time if you like a good hack n slash.

When I got this game for the steal of a price $15, I honestly thought it was probably going to be a pile of S#!t. But its really not that bad I have enjoyed playing it heaps. It is very linear but the voice acting is well done and it has a nice habit of burning up a few hours. Well worth it at that price!

Solid gameplay, enjoyable combat yet slightly repetative. Graphics bit average and story somewhat lacking but if your after a quick easy gaming fix without too much hassle then not a bad pick up

Unfortunately, I bought this game expecting something great. Bethesda has a reputation for producing revolutionary, excellent games. Only after buying this game did I realise that it was in fact, PUBLISHED by Bethesda, where it was developed by inXile Entertainment. The game is unique is some respects, with a mildly immersive plot and adequate gameplay combat mechanics. Worth the $20 I paid for it. Also fun to play cooperative.

A dangerous mix of retro dungeon crawling and first person fighting, playing through Hunted requires a suspension of general features and tactics, and really, a co-op partner. You're only as deadly as your ally in Hunted, and to really make the most of the game you'll need to play it through with a friend. Even if you're reduced to splitting your screen like a downtrodden peasant, I would recommend that over single player. In a more honest representation of overly-heroic characters, you cannot carry what you can't fit comfortably on your back (only two weapon choices- Madness!) and the endless coins you collect have no in game purpose, reminiscent of early point gathering games. Unlike those games, Hunted may not warrant a second playthrough. The story is far from engrossing or seamless, but the mix of first person shooter and hack and slash genres and the brutal flowing combat will keep you charging through. The banter between the characters never truly annoys, and even the repetitive enemies expire in such satisfying explosions your thumbs will end up itching to get at them. Hunted: The Demons Forge won't spur you out of chair or leave you spellbound and begging for more, but it will give you an enjoyable ride and at the bottom of the bin value, not a game that should be passed up so easily.

This game is alright, its quite challenging but it can get a bit boring and the story line isn't very good.

Really enjoyed this game, one of those cant put down games, would thoroughly recommend it.

Didn't really know what to expect when I bought this game but it was so worth it! When it arrived I literally played it non-stop till 2 in the morning, absolutely love it, highly recommended

If you want a fairly cool way to spend an afternoon with your game buddy on the same console, doing some hack and slash campaign co-op, then this isn't a bad way to spend it.

Choice between the two on the cover, either the flighty Elf archer or the craggy human fighter. Both get some spell power upgrades to use or they can just hack, shoot or otherwise fight their way through the plot.

Also, once Xena, Warrior Princess Lucy Lawless does one of the non-player character voices, so that might be a little extra for fans of that show and Hercules.

I initially rented this game and thought it good enough to serve as a -pull-out-when-a-mate-comes-around kind of game. Check it out before it disappears into game obscurity.

Gets some basics right but lacking in story, repetitive gameplay, poor characted customisation and development, and split screen is ridiculous.

This game is great but really challenging.

Very colourful and cool storyline good game

Now this was a fairly good game .. there are a few sticky points in the game .. like while playing the NPC got stuck behind things got in my way while in combat and got me killed a few time just because of that .. but the rest of the game is pretty sweet .. to bad you can't replay missions to find stuff you missed .. but i like the game and think its worth a 7/10 .. so its a must play if your a action RPG junky .

Good game on single player but much more enjoyable as a co op game.

Hunted is a great games because it combineds the olden days, magic and myths all together. It has very good garphics and very realistic.
