If you've watched the series and ever wondered how it began. This is it. Great graphics good storyline. Geeky boy gets girl, and trains the most lethal dragon of them all. And also is the son of the chief of the local viking village. Great entertainment.

How to train your dragon is probably my favourite animated movie of all time. Yes, even compared to Disney Classics and Pixars fantastic range of movies which I also thoroughly enjoy. There is something about this heartwarming and beautifully animated (the facial expressions of Toothless the Night Fury are priceless) adventure that captures my imagination. I never tire of watching it. My children love it as well. Even better when buying the Double Pack with the onus Boneknapper short film.

Our boy will be absolutely over the moon with this – what a great combination!

When I first watched this movie I didn't have any high expectations. Oh thought it was simply going to be another dull kids film I was really surprised with how much I loved this movie I would gladly watch it 300 times over I was surprised at how relatable hiccup was I fell in love with the animation and characters

My boys adore this movie and the wee extra bits go down really well too. It's a really nice story and keeps you involved from beginning to end, it's also possible to watch quite a few times without boredom.

This movie is entertaining for the whole family. Bought it for my children but I get a laugh watching it too. Toothless was a crackup with his cute and funny mannerisms. A great addition to the family DVD collection, one the children often ask to watch.
