I’m really loving playing this game. Haptics are awesome – the bow is 😚👌🏼 Great story, great characters – builds so well on what was created in zero dawn

If graphics and fidelity are your jam, this game probably tops the list of best looking games out there right now. I can't get over just how good this looks on a 4k TV! I thought the Horizon Zero Dawn was ok, but not the best. This game on the other hand is STRIDES ahead of its predecessor. It improves upon every element the first game may have been lacking. I wouldn't this is a perfect game by any means, but you can bet it's damn near close! Can't wait to see more of what Guerrilla Games has to offer! 9/10
I loved Horizon Zero Dawn, one of the best games I've ever played. Horizon Forbidden West improves on almost everything: graphically stunning on PS5, great monsters to fight, great character control with moving and fighting, well-designed user interface in general.
I had expected more to be honest. Some of the plot lines are simply contradictory and unbelievable, the environmental traversal system is ridiculously useless with little to no real fall damage (probably as a result of not working properly), the combat system is largely unworkable and the upgrades and skill matrix systems overly simplistic, narrow and amateurish. If this was the FIRST of its kind I would say it was passable with much fixing required. As a follow-up to a major title – seriously disappointing. Don't buy it – maybe they will release a better one next time but I don't think so. I think this is the end of the title series for me.
The second best open world game of the year.
Great gameplay hook engaging story fascinating and vast world to explore
I am a big fan of Zero Dawn, this is even better, love love love it
No spoilers here.
It's the nicest game on PS5, Love it, and not only a good story, looks great also
Fantastic game that takes the fantastic original game and improves on it in every way. If you want a game to show off your PS5's fancy graphics, this is it!
10/10 game, beautiful, adventure, stealth, thrill. Everything I love in a game.

It’s a good game but It seems like this game is a step backwards in lots of ways and it feels rushed. Even though they have introduced lots of new things, they have taken out important things aswell. The whistle is removed so it’s harder to lure enemies and the long dodge is gone, which makes the combat annoying as it is harder to dodge big enemies. The combat doesn’t seem to be as smooth as the first one and enemies are now really tedious and frustrating to fight, although they have introduced a lot of good moves aswell. You can still get good at the game and have fun but you will probably get slammed around a lot as well.

The whistle is removed so it’s harder to lure enemies and the long dodge is gone, which makes the combat annoying. The combat is probably the worst part of the game now, it seems like the developers didn’t understand what made the first one fun, because they made too many changes to the combat system. Enemies are now really tedious and frustrating to fight. You can still get good at it, but for me the first one was much better at combat. I don’t think I want to get another sequel after what they have done to this one.
