This is a great companion to the television show “Castle”. It combines the storylines of a few of the early episodes in a style that is fast paced and exciting.
When reading it, I imagined the whole thing being read out loud by Nathan Fillion (You can find him reading segments at comicon on youtube) which only made the experience better.
It's not an incredibly well-written piece of literature but it is fun and if you love the show you should love the book too.
Can't wait for Naked Heat!
Richard Castle's novel Heat Wave is absolutely amazing.
It is very fast paced, yet surprisingly, very easy to keep up with.
The book is literally like a movie inside your own mind, and in the words of Rick Castle “The best way to catch a killer is with your imagination.”
I highly recommend this book to anyone who watches Castle, like the murder-mystery genre, or who just really wants a good book that will leave them wondering.
It's pretty cool to be able to read a book that's in one of my favourite shows!
For all those Caskett shippers from the TV Show Castle, this book is a good read, especially for those who can't wait for the two characters on the TV Show to get into a relationship. With several references to the TV Show, including Judge Simpson (based on Judge Markway on the TV Show who's played by Dan Castallaneta, none other than the voice of Homer Simpson), this book is the perfect foil to what has fast become a very popular TV Show.
Service from Might Ape – as usual – was great. The book is good, but doesn't seem to flow as well as the TV series. Still – enjoyable.
If you have watched the Castle tv series the book is a great read. Little bit slow at first but the action is great and its fun to read the book and then compare it to the tv series. Hope ABC put out another book.
Not bad. Not bad at all. Great in fact!!! While it may not have been a piece of literacy genius, it was entertaining and a good laugh!!! Jameson Rook and Nikki Heat's characters are portrayed very well! Loved Roach!!! Only fuelled my Castle obsession more!
