Gurren Lagann was the first anime I watched as an enthusiast, and not just a kid watching Dragon Ball Z over his cornflakes. What an excellent place to start. In fact, I'd probably recommend it as one of the first anime to watch, if anybody is looking to enter the genre.

The English voice acting is of fantastic quality, the visuals are pleasing, the characters are loveable, and the action is great fun to watch. Despite not being a particular fan of the shounen genre, I did enjoy this a good deal, and have even rewatched it.

Gurren Lagann is an anime classic, and a must-see.

I Loved this series found it a crackup from the start. The characters you want to relate to them and at times find yourself cringing And then burst out laughing at the crazy stuff they all do

My friend just got me this for my birthday, its been awhile since I've seen it and its better than I remember, 6 discs so the price is really good, funny with action. Must get for anime merch collectors

This is a must own for every fan of a true anime! Full of fun, life excitement in a tale about fighting for life, love and dreams to a brighter tomorrow! Characters you can instantly fall in love with, fighting spirit, love and saddening loss. Fair warning, it's a hard one to put down until it ends. Leaving you satisfied, sad yet joyful. and missing your heroes as soon as the credits role.
