The high definition is great and perfect for Skype calls, well worth the money. Judging by other people's ability to understand me I assume the microphone is doing the trick.
The auto focus does seem to be a bit dodgy in some lighting conditions but not enough to scrap the technology and the hanging clip works fantastically on my LED monitor.
I'd definitely recommend this webcam for anyone wanting to chat online or take some vanity shots. Two thumbs up
This cam has bad audio quality, so it's probably best to just use a headset in combination with this cam for video calls.
The video quality is decent.
Note however, that this cam is trouble when it comes to compatibility with skype – it took hours of scanning through forums to get it to work – it seems I wasn't the only one having issues with this cam, and I was one of the lucky few who was able to get my issue resolved.

This is a great camera for a great price, I can clearly Skype people without any problems.
Its a solid piece of equipment, and also nice and small (not too cumbersome). The clip is easily manipulated to secure it to a computer or some other mount. That it is USB powered helps increase its ease of use, and the actual software built into it is straightforward. The picture quality is okay, but not the best.
This cam is pretty good, it delivers a sharp crisp image in standard lighting and the built in mic far exceeds using a stand alone mic. It doesn't provide a picture if you are only using a TV and your computer screen as lighting for example but with slightly more light you will get a image that isn't made up of blocks. The auto focus can take 3–10 seconds to adjust but that only happens when you change the lighting dramatically so for a cheap cam I would give this almost 5 stars
