Have had this recipe book from the 80's and have many favourites. Bought it from Mighty Ape for a friend who is equally thrilled with it. Apple and date chutney – Yum!

I had been looking forward immensely to receiving, at last, Digby Law's famous pickle & chutney cookbook. Lovely cover, but distressing to find that the paper is cheap and yellowy (think about newspaper quality) and the font used is small and marks. (Tnink magnifying glass.) PITY!!!!!!!!!

Great book for the home harvester, using ingredients we have in the panty. Simple, tried and true recipes.
Love the variety of different recipes. Especially like the pineapple one.
