Deus Ex: Human Revolution reviews

A great game that kept me interested for hours to the point of completion. An incredible action-RPG, it also has a FPS style of combat or if you like, you can stealth all the way through game like Splinter Cell, if you want.

I love the detective work you have to do with the excellent side stories and thought provoking issues that can affect the outcome of your story depending on your decisions.

An amazing experience that really simulates a world that you can change… or destroy!

When I first heard about the amount of critical acclaim this game received, I was really keen on buying this game. When I finally got my hands on it, I was not disappointed at all. It has great controls, wide variety of weapons to use, top notch graphics, an intriguing story, and a well constructed dystopian cyber punk setting with very strong influences from movies like Blade Runner.

The gameplay is pretty familiar to the Mass Effect series where it is a mixture of first person shooter, rpg, open world exploration, and dialogue options that can affect the flow of the story.

A highly recommendable game, definitely on my top list.

The gritty dystopian world and the seedy multinational corporations have many secrets to hide and it is up to you, Adam Jensen, to find them.

How you choose to do so is a highlight of this game. No longer can you burst in guns-blazing, the thoughtful measured approach is best and rewards you in unexpected ways and can even change character interactions. Its interesting to even take a break from the action and pay attention and explore the world which pulls ideas from dystopian society mixed with renaissance-esque themes.

Great game. Awesome story line. Free choice. Good graphics. This game is definitely one of the best I've played in quite a long time.

Didn't like it at the start but love it now. Just give the game a go past the first bit and I bet you'll love it.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a game worth playing. This is primarily a First Person Shooter that combines RPG elements and stealth. The plot is very interesting and deep, set in the future where people can get ‘augmented’ which is basically adding computer chips and components to the human body to get more robot like. I haven't played the the original older Deus Ex but the storyline takes place 25 years before the first title so you won't get lost in storyline. The game just really sucks you in and gives you plenty of side quests and missions to complete in many different ways. You can be stealthy or just kill everyone which is perfectly enough to satisfy both ways of play. The RPG elements really add depth to this game. Allowing you to customize and upgrade your character in each upgrade really makes a difference unlike other games which only offers different power upgrades. If you haven't played this game yet I highly suggest playing this game if your a fan of First Person Shooters/RPGS/Ste­alth games.

this is my most favourite game so far, first the not so good things about it, if you're going in expecting to play it like Call of Duty, you'll die and wont make progress, this is a stealth action rpg, there are trophies to not alert anyone or not kill anyone throughout the whole game (which I have gotten), also the boss fights arnt that engaging. The Positive, EVERYTHING ELSE lol as I said this is my most favourite game, the characters, story, gameplay, even the soundtrack is amazing. The DLC is also worth a buy after you finish the main game, overall i give it 10/10 the negative things about it for me dont even detract from the score

Interesting plot, slightly sketcy controls, but a well focused romp into a future ruled ruled by technology. A good upgrade system, cool gadgets and some solid guns making a good sci-fi shooter.

Loved it, Lovin' it and going to love it more… Sorry that sounded weird… Anyway…

Great game. Love ghost in the shell- Blade Runner- This is what you're after.

Really enjoyed this game, didn't enjoy the first hour or so but after that I was hooked.

Can't wait for the next Deus Ex after this one redeemed the series!
