Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare reviews

Awesome guys

This is great to see such a refreshing step up from the last game. So far I have had an amazing time online
with some incredible game play the moves that you can link together its addictive and that's saying something as Im not a super huge fanboy of call of duty but like to play it a fair bit here and there. With the new Exo skeleton its some great fun plus so much more new toys. Also the campaign has got some pretty great story telling and cinematic scenes so its pretty awesome so fair. So if your to the bone original call of duty fan this will restore your faith. In my book this is one of the top 5 games of 2014.

I have been a fan of all the call of duty's, each time a new one comes out it is always better not once it has been worse, the campaign looks great. Recommend to people who like war game (shooter)

This game is by far the best Call of Duty. Great game and really fun.

The addition of the Exo has given new options making an already great format better.

This is the first COD since MW2 that has that feel of MW2 with a mixture of Black Ops 2-like futuristic settings. The stories are the same, the terrorists always with the terrorists but the new thing here is this private military organisation Atlas which Advanced Warfare is all about. Online multiplayer from what has been shown on Youtube, pre-release matches, etc looks like it might be promising. We shall see. Watching online gameplay it is interesting that a few similar problems have arisen mainly around a skill based ranked lobby, nothing new but if that is the case it may take for granted connection. MW2, COD4 never had the kind of problems the more recent CODs had, there was the odd annoying host migration, waiting a minute at the worst having to start a match all over again. I hope Sledgehammer are conscious enough to see as Hutch put it that “perception is reality” (not entirely) but the point being if people have general issues about something specific than that issue should be seriously addressed. We are getting used to the double jumping etc (Titanfall) and the new exo suit abilities, that's not the problem it comes down to the connection. The maps are OK, I must admit it is a case in my view of ‘more of the same’ and having to come to terms to myself that the people who made Modern Warfare 2, the way COD use to be, the way maps use to be designed (COD 4, WAW, MW2) are long gone/changed. Advanced Warfare is a better game than Ghosts was. But that is not saying much. I managed to achieve 92% achievement points on COD: AW within the first week of release! What kind of game allows that-! I use to think it took a significant decent amount of time to unlock Xbox achievements depending on the game played (fps games being generally straight forward) but I must say I was impressed either with myself for doing this and perhaps not so impressed with Sledgehammer for the easy achievements but hey that's cool.

Well worth it!

Better than Ghosts yes, generally…

Better than the classics MW2, COD4– Nope but a good ok overall game.

I really hope this game exceeds expectations. From what I have seen so far on Youtube, it does look promising. Have ordered the game and hope to receive it soon.

Haven't played much but was very impressed to gameplay and enjoyability.

I like the campaign however I have found that playing online multiplayer the game has headed down the track of halo and I lose alot of enthusiasim for it.

Love the games! Really good fun when u get to play with ur mates!
