Ahh, Bleach. I don’t know how it does it, but despite filling my heart with absolute rage at its terrible fillers, I inevitably find myself anticipating each new movie in the same way that Kon desperately awaits his next glimpse of Orihime’s ridiculously massive rack.Over all, Fade to Black’s strength lies in demonstrating the side effects of the imposed memory loss. Regrettably, this doesn’t last long, and instead of developing it a little more, the movie retreats to a safer and more comfortable arena. While not a particularly bad film, Fade to Black doesn’t specially impress either. As shounen goes, it’s relatively good, and certainly better than some of the fillers that make it into the main series.

The animation is so sharp and detailed. If you watch this then the 1st episode of bleach, you will be amazed at how different the quality is. The storyline is ok, but it's kind of boring. No Chad, Orihime or Uryu at all either.

Thing about the Bleach Movies is that they're interesting, much better than the Dragon Ball Z ones where everything is predictable and doesn't always make sense (Tree of Might for example). Rukia is captured and her memory is erased, as well as any memory anyone had of her, Ichigo finally remembers her with the help of Kon and heads to the Soul Society to figure out whats going on. When he gets there he finds many have forgotten about him too, and then lands on everyones hit-list. This Movie is filled with action, almost every Captain battles including some previous Captains who were exiled from the Soul Society re-enter the Soul Society to battle the Memory-Erasing Villains. And of corse, Ichigo takes the lead and battles to save Rukia. Special Features include, Trailer for other Animes, as well as Trailers in Japanese and English for the Movie itself, and Production Art. For $23.00, it's well worth the money.
