It always amazes me how Diana Gabaldon manages to write novel after novel about Jamie and Claire without it get stale and boring.
An Echo in the Bone sees Diana bringing characters out of the shadows and into the forefront to be explored. We learn a lot more about Ian and circumstances behind him leaving the Mohawks. We also begin to see more about the mysterious William and his Stepfather Lord John Grey.
For all the fans of the series you won't want to miss all the exciting action from Jamie and Claire in 1777 and from Roger and Bree in the 1980's.
