"Needs 100 points more on it :(."

This Points Card lets you buy XBLA (Xbox Live Arcade Games) off the Xbox Live service. I've bought Prince of Persia Classic so far and I look forward to buying another game called Exit on XBLA.

The problem is most XBLA games come in multiples of 400 points. So you can buy just 1 800 points XBLA game or 3 400 points XBLA games and you'll be a 100 points short in either case for 1 more title in which case you will have to buy another of these cards for those extra 100 points. For example: I bought one of these 1500 point cards to buy POP classic in June 2007 for 800 points. I now want to buy Exit which costs 800 points but I have only 700 points and I have to buy one of these cards again for the extra 100 points and the remaining 1400 points will be eating dust.

Of course you can use the card to do buy silly stuff like “picture packs”, “themes”, “change gamertag”, etc. but it is something I don't want to spend my money on.

The points available on this card is either a money making gimmick or some one at Microsoft did'nt do their home work while shaping such a product for the NZ market (you can get a 1600 points card in the US). Alternatively you can buy points from Xbox Live directly using a Credit Card but I don't have one.

"A good way to give xbox live points as a gift"
4 stars"

Points Cards is a great way to give Xbox live points to yours friends and family. Since alot of younger players don't have credit cards of their own, points card is a great way for them to get Xbox live points for games and add-on. Parents can also get points cards for their kids instead of pocket money as a way to get them to do their chores.

"Games, add on's and upgrades"

Purchased on Mighty Ape

If you own an 360 you'll know all about MS points if your new to 360 and not sure what MS points are, then I'll let you know. Need some upgrades or found out there is a new level to that game you love but it can only be downloaded then get you some MS points with MS points you can buy upgrades and game add on's and even some new gear for your avatar. On the back of the card is a code that you enter to redeem the amount of MS points you have brought (1500 – 3000) with these points you can buy unlockable items for the game you are playing, new stages or exclusive gear or items. You can even buy some old xbox titles like Jade Empire. Each item you buy uses up your MS points example you might pay 200 of your MS points to download a weapons pack for your game or you might pay 1200 MS points to download a xbox title. All in all if you want the extras for your game/s then get you some MS points always handy to have.
