This was perfect for what I was after, very simple installation and performs flawlessly! Well worth the $60 I paid. Great that it comes with the wireless receiver USB for PC while also being able to be used as a standard Xbox controller with the push of a button!

Brilliant service. Placed the order in the afternoon and received first thing the next morning. Product exactly as advertised on the site. We were worried for just a moment when it turned up as all info with it related to use with a PC. Fortunately without any instruction it fired up straight away when pointed at XBox connected to TV.

Totally worth it. Works great on Xbox and PC. Also, since many recent games have a preset Xbox Controller option, I don't need to spend much time configuring controls.

What can I say, it's a standard Xbox controller and does all the things that an Xbox controller should do. I have not used this with games on the PC, but it is nice having the option if needed.

These controllers are excellent if you want to add more controllers to your Elite Console so that they match, or even if you dont have an Elite console you can have multiple different coloured controllers so everybody has their own. No more fighting over who dirtied up the controllers this way.

See we had an Xbox. But all the guys on the screen just stood still. We needed some way to move them around. And to make them fire their little pretend guns. Some sort of ‘controller’ if you will. So we bought this. Now they move. And their guns fire. We reckon thats pretty cool. Not as cool as free beer, but then what is- What is, indeed…

This works great. The only hiccup was in setting up the controller – there weren't enough instructions with the controller itself, we had to refer to the original XBox instructions. So don't expect a simple plug and play device.

Ive used this product as a PC gaming controller on a few games now, and Ive got to say It works amazingly. If your at all hesitant because your not sure if its what your looking for, don't be afraid. The controller comes with the USB adapter and software installation CD, and its worked for me with no issues at all.

The Xbox controllers don't really need a review. Everyone knows they're amazing, the quality is great, they are really ergonomic and the PC adapter works without a problem. The only issue is that Steam needs more controller enabled games, haha.

Comes with the added bonus of a USB receiver and drivers so the controller can be used with your PC as well. Great bonus!

Makes it really easy to play those games on PC that you need more finer analog control instead of keyboard buttons like flight sims or driving games, and as a bonus can still connect to the Xbox360.

I purchased it for my Window gaming, great controller with good vibrate feedback.

I have been very happy with the controller, has all the same functionality as the standard controller as used by xbox. Came with batteries, and the PC USB wireless dongle (which can connect up to 4 controllers at once!). I have tried to connect a standard xbox controller but it didnt work, the controller is used on an xbox and so maybe there is some pairing issue, Im not sure.

All in all its what you should expect from the controller to work with a PC.

If you are computer savvy or have time to troll the net looking for instructions that should be provided you MAY be able to get this to work. Plug and play it certainly is not. The help file covers the quadrant lights and what colour they go when connection is lost. There is NOTHING about connecting, setting up, using or even turning off the controller! This is not even worth a star Microsoft

Really good controller connects instantly and the software is easy to install. Controller works with just about every game I've tried it with so far

Easy to connect, got it on special so was a great deal. Only downside I found was that it tended to chewed through batteries even when not on, would definitely suggest getting a charger pack. After that this controller is absolutely perfect.

The controller is very responsive and comfortable to hold, and makes some games a bunch more enjoyable to play. A lot of games are present for Xbox controllers so you can just pick it up and go, and it makes for a prime gaming experience if you have Steam and use the Big Picture mode while hooked up to your TV. If you're on the fence about the controller I definitely recommend you go for it, you won't regret it.

When it broken sent it back and within a day of it being dispatched I had a new one

Very fun to use with my computer for gaming, easy to install for computers. It's cool how the joysticks are blacked out and the Xbox button is chromed.

It is what I needed to complete my gaming fun, cheap control pads don't cut it.

This is a product you don't comprimise on.

Buy it, use it, forget the rest.

No problems connecting to PC. Very high quality product, feels very nice in the hand with a good weight to it. Definitely worth the purchase.

A decent priced product that does what you expect it to. Pretty much plug and play on Windows based machine and Xbox.

Just works and most made for Windows games will map the buttons correclty by default.

… But games require explicit support for the pad. In saying that – there's other software to allow unsupported games to use it.

It's a shame that they don't sell just the wireless receiver in official channels.

all the buttons work, you push ‘a’ a will work, you push ‘b’ b will work, you push ‘x’ x will work and so on! dont try push ‘w’ though, its a bugger to find! still havnt found it after weeks of playing

If you want a console like experience, with better graphics,features and options then pick one up it adds to your gaming experience

After having several wired controllers break from beung run over by an office chair or stood on, it was a great relief to finally have something that will go the distance . Good range. Good button response. Good buy.

It's just a regular controller for an xbox 360, so not only can you use it for that purpose, but it comes bundled with a PC USB dongle, so you can connect it to your PC too, and because they're both genuine Microsoft products, they're quality made and are built to last. Very happy overall.

I don't have an xbox but I use this on my gaming PC and it works brilliantly! It works on just about all of my games (even the ones steam says doesn't have controller support). I plug my pc into my tv and it turns into an xbox but still with all the abilities of a computer. I highly recommend this to anyone who plays the latest games on a computer.

I got this controller about a year ago, it always worked as expected, same hardware etc as the console version, was very happy with it until 1 year and 2 days out of warranty the receiver died!

Well I thought all was lost, but I contacted MA customer support, within 3 working days I had a surprise courier at my doorstep!

works great, auto mapping for supported games. though the controller doesnt work at all on the desktop, so you cant use online (websites like facebook trademe etc.) also a good idea to buy rechargeable batteries or a plug and play kit.

Very solid and dependable controller, easy to set up and gives good battery life. The fact it works with PC and XBOX 360 is a bonus. It is not as easy to set up as the wired controller however, as some older games (such as AC and ACII) do not have profiles for the wireless controller and require a bit of tweaking to get right.

Not only have Mighty Ape solved my issues around the delay in the time it took to send this product but they have also offered this product at one of the cheapest prices you will ever see. So happy with my purchase, can't wait for it too turn up!

I found this an amazing add on for my gaming experience. I did need to use the CD that game with it to install the drivers as it wasn't a plug-in-play device.

You may need to download additional software to use it for games as not all games have the settings built in. Xpadder is what I use its around 15$ NZ

Use it for my PC, awesome, great connectivity, no issues with it, and battery consumption is low which is a bonus as well.

This controller does not disappoint. Being a genuine Microsoft product it delivers everything it promises. Connects to both my Xbox and my Computer without an issue, works great, even came with 2×AA batteries! Can't complain there.

Overall, very satisfied with this purchase.

At first, I can't get it worked to my xbox360, so I have to search the net for solution. It took me 30 minutes to figure it out. I taught it will end up returning the product. Then, I tried one more time syncing the controller & console. Thank God it worked. I'm very happy with it, and it worked perfectly. =)

This controller is the same quality as all other Xbox controllers, and the dongle works perfectly, with no install problems. The best part is the price, as it is cheaper than regular wireless controllers and includes the dongle at no extra charge! Well worth it, and works perfectly.

I've had mine since 2012, it's lasted me till the xbox one came out. Works perfectly fine on any Windows PC with it's PnP technology, can use it on my PC one minute and my mate's xbox in the next half hour with minimal hassle. It's only been shelved recently due to the Xbox One controllers, however it shall still see use.

Being a console gamer this was a must have for those racing games. still working on getting a shiny xbox controller but that will have to wait

Bought this controller to play Fifa on PC. Great buy, works perfectly with the game. Very comfortable to use. Battery life has so far been ok – not a fan of batteries. Prefer rechargeable. Besides that, it is awesome. Connectivity is almost as simple as plug and play!

Perfect worked straight away on my windows 8 laptop.works on all my steam games(counter strike…i did have to configure controller for this but not hard and gta 4 worked straight out of the box)delivery was same day from auckland to christchurch,placed order at 11:30am arrived 6:15pm!.also worked on my windows vista lappy however had to install drivers manually with the disc provided first.thank you mighty ape including delivery was still cheaper than the warehouse price of 100bux

Just install software and then plug and play. Works on all games I Have, And the range is stupidly far, I can still play the game 20M away by then I cant make out whats on the TV and its 47". The Price is reasonable, But it beats wired Controllers ANY day. And It works as a standard XBOX 360 Controller.

MS put a lot of work into sculpting their Xbox 360 controllers and they fit almost all hand sizes. The dongle is great for connecting to a PC, but 6 stars if it had Linux support (not likely from MS).

Awesome as I can use this on my 360 and PC, great controller for large hands and has a good solid feel to it.

I've been wanting to buy a legit controller for playing PC games for ages, but the 360 ones have always been pretty high in price, but this one was a steal! Comes with the usb receiver for PC too in case anyone was wondering :D

Great … Works really well! Had to use XBOX 360 original manual to configure controller though (no instructions with controller – only PC instructions) … But once done all good!

This controller is great, whether you want to use it with a PC or just need another one for wireless Xbox gaming! Easy to sync, as you would with any other wireless controllers. Best price around, cheaper than buying one that only works on Xbox, and gives you the freedom to use with PC if you want.

It wirelessly allows you to control games on your PC – not much more to say than that. The controller provided is a standard controller, so the adapter works with any wireless controllers, it seems.

My only complaint would be the D-Pad – being a disk shape instead of a plus, control is sloppy of exactly when the button press is registered. Microsoft already sell a revised controller with this complaint fixed, however.

Good controller, only gripe is that it goes through batteries quite quickly. A solution to this is to use a play and charge kit which is an additional ~$40 dollars which should last a couple of years before you need to replace the kit.

This is just what i was looking for had been trying to get my ps3 controller to work with my pc for a good two weeks very little success. This worked first time no hassle at all and you wont find a better price.

There's nothing better than a matching set and White controls are so yesterday and if you ever have to leave your Xbox no problem its good with you PC too.
