Colour makes the experience of WWII more real and blu-ray quality is worth the expense.

Wow, best WWII documentary series available hands down.

I love to look at history. World war 2 was a war we shouldn't forget. This dvd showed how with brave people and luck the allies won. We are lucky to be a free country. A great dvd.

Ordered at 6pm, arrived 8am next day. What a service. Having it in Blu-Ray and in colour just makes it all the more real. A great buy.

This is a great buy, as well as being a brilliant documentary on the Second World War, it looks stunning in HD. Blu-Ray was delivered in a day in perfect condition.

This is by far the most comprehensive WWII documentary in existence. The restored footage (much of which can be found nowhere else), looks amazing in 1080p color and offers a unique and highly immersive perspective of this fascinating war.

At 670 minutes long, it extensively covering both European and Pacific theaters and notable battles are explained in detail using animated maps to present insightful tactical breakdowns of combat operations. Although this feature is common among WWII documentaries, it is done exceptionally well here.

This documentary primarily uses real footage in well-edited sequences to convey it's information, with animated maps used only to explain specific tactical decisions.

The narrator is great and the spoken content is well researched and written. It supports the visual content well and keeps it all engaging.

I highly recommend this to anyone interested in the history of World War 2 – and that should be everyone. WWII is an event that must not be forgotten for it has shaped the world we live in.

Colour enhancement is outstanding . Because its in colour it more real and to watch this history in HD is so different thanto watch it in black and white,highly recomended.
