You could get something that does the same thing much cheaper, but this is good quality. However, USB3 does not really do anything for it at this stage because most SD/MSD cards cant reach full USB2 speed anyway.

A good data transfer speed using USB3. I've only tested it with a SD – but it also has a slot for the mico-SD card as well. The unit is about the size of a memory stick, but a little wider, so you probably won't be able to plug it into a slot with an adjacent stick in place. However, most PCs have plenty of USB slots these days and so this probably wont be an issue. The unit seems well made and the price is reasonable.
