The Six Pack Two is a collection of new Kiwi writing published to celebrate NZ Book Month. It is six pieces of writing for $6. NZ Book Month hopes the book will introduce a new generation of readers to the delights of NZ writing. Each year NZ Book Month runs a competition open to all NZ writers, and a range of categories (adult fiction, adult non fiction, poetry). A blind judging process, culminating in a celebrity judging panel and on line poll select the six winners, each of whom is awarded a cheque for $5000. The Six Pack is on sale in all bookshops. It is also provided free to schools, libraries and range of non-profit organisations.
