The Sims 3: Ambitions reviews

I have to admit, I am a fan of the Sims. I've purchased every single base game, every single expansion pack, every single stuff pack, and have even shelled out for store items. While fun to play, some of the expansion packs (particularly for Sims 2) were a little lacklustre… and I was pleasantly surprised by World Adventures, the first expansion pack for Sims 3.

I was even MORE pleasantly surprised with Ambitions. I admit, I love it. I really do. I played it to death the first weekend I had it (which happened to be the long weekend, so, yay!) and I fell in love with Twinbrook – definitely the cutest, funnest, bestest town yet – the houses in the swamp are just awesome.

I love the jobs! They are fun, quirky, several of them even give you the opportunity to let your creative juices flow (for good, or for evil!), and they give us something that until now, we've not been able to enjoy… going to work with our Sims. If you've been wondering about this pack, and whether or not you think it's worth the Simoleons, I seriously have to recommend it.

Definitely the most fun I have had with Sims for quite a long time!

Unlike previous Sims expansions, this one lets you visit your creations to work and make interesting career choices. I enjoyed it, but it could have been just a wee bit better. If you are a die-hard Sims fan, it's a must buy; But if you don't play it too often you can give it a miss until a better expansion shows up.

This is an excellent edition to the sims family, you get to place fire stations, salons, convient stores etc and you can change jobs to become a firefighter or hair dresser etc.

Bored of waiting the 5 minutes that it takes for your sim to go to work? can think of something you could be doing in their lives INSTEAD of waiting for them? Waiting is no longer… Go to work with your sim(s).. A handful of career options provides endless hours of fun and no job is the same… Next step for the sims, having ALL careers like this

If you were the sims player that likes creating a life for ypur sims with jobs and aims, then this is the game for you. I am not that into building houses and decorating, I would rather my sims to do things and advance in a career or goal.This expansion allows me to take my sims totally new places and creates so many new wishes that you can fulfill. I totally recommend this game!

Unlike some previous sim expansions which are limited, this expansion is like having a brand new game!Time travel, ghost hunting, cave exploring, robots, firefighting, spying on the neighbours, and even more, there is plenty extra to keep a simmer occupied for hours. Not only do you get a whole new style of game play, with the architecture and fashion designer careers its possible to remodel the entire neighbourhood. This expansion is well worth the money, recommended to anyone.

The Sims 3 Ambitions adds a large range of additions to your Sims 3 game. The new more interactive professions lets you finally take your kids to work! Amazingly fun and exciting. A must-buy for any Sims fan!

As a player of the Sims 2 I have been waiting for the Sims 3 and its expansions to catch up closer to where the older game left off. The Sims ambitions adds alot of intriguing new content and day jobs which is the main focus of the expansion. It however was the little improvements to the interface that I liked and noticed more, The UI is definately more userfriendly and prompts much more helpful imformation and objectives which is quite necessary for the new day(and night) jobs.

The jobs themselves are quite entertaining and adds an entirely new experiance to the game where previously there was naught but boredom as a sim disappeared for hours.

The only flaw to the new jobs system is the near impossibility of managing a household where multiple sims would work such jobs. A few days playing with just one such job and watching how much effect my actions had on the town in general was surprising… now to try it with the other five or so!

Why would you leave work to then just continue “working” in the Sims? 'Cause it's fun. 'Cause you can be a firefighter, an architect and a PI all in the space of a week.

Great expansion, makes it a whole new game. Lots of fun.

This expansion is the best yet! It lets you be the hero by fighting fires or maybe be the vilan by giving sims terrible makeovers as a stylist. This game will give you everything you want in the sims.

fantastic expansion , there is only 1 problem which is i never want to stop playing it.

Take your sims on huge adventure across a brand new town with many new jobs including a ghosthunter, fireman, inventer and much much more. Will your sims become the towns faviorite fashion desiginer or sims with the worst sense of style. That, is all up to you!

The sims 3 Ambition is more than just a glorified stuff pack. In this expansion new jobs as well as career paths have been added and for a change on some of these jobs you can go to work with you sim. From tattoo artist to firefighter there is all sorts to do and keep your sims entertained.

This is a great expansion for sime 3 I recomend it to any 1 that plays sims3 u can do a job u dream of do a good job or make a mess what ever u feel like what ever u do I promice u will have fun :)

Initially it is amusing to explore the career paths now available to you, but it eventually becomes a normal part of the game. Some jobs also becoming increasingly annoying.

I really love this expansion, it has everying I could possibly want. I recommend this to anyone who wants to have a proper career in The Sims 3.

This is great, if you choose certain jobs etc, that you can go to work with them, like the; Fire fighter that's my fav :D
