The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds reviews

I was sure to pre-order this game so not to have it spoiled for me, and I regret nothing it was great!

While I enjoyed the “Console Zelda” style the past DS/3DS Zelda games had been going for I felt like this game with its 2D(ish) top-down perspective brought back all the joy of my childhood playing Zelda on GameBoy.

As for the game itself, the gameplay and story were as amazing as any other in the series and it definitely has replay value that I know will get me getting to 100% on the other two save slots as well.

I promise this game will not disappoint, whether you're a long time fan or a newcomer to the series.

If you own a 3DS you absolutely need this game!!! I'm not even finished but I am having the best time playing it, the dungeons are puzzling and sometimes hard but very rewarding when you pass it giving you the feeling of being smart from passing a puzzle you were stuck on for ages. Definitely a buy now if you loved the first Zelda on the NES or a link to the past. Hands down, one of the most entertaining game on the platform! Haven't I convinced you yet!-!- BUY IT NOW AND PLAY!!!

A must buy for the DS. Easy gameplay that doesn't take a genius to master but is still challenging enough to be fun. Puzzles start off easy but become increasingly harder and the dungeons are laid out so you can switch up the order that you complete them in. Overall an awesome game, buy it!

This game has a great story, classic and innovative responsive gameplay, and graphics are smooth and colourful, highly recommend for all ages. You wont be disappointed!

A fun game that makes me want to keep playing again and again.

I spent a lot of time finishing this game multi time in the past on super nintendo, and I find this new version even more enjoyable. Fantastic game !!!

This game was so amazing, the art and 3D was great, the music was pleasant, the characters and plot engaging, and the puzzles fun and interesting. BUT It the story was so short! :( I finished the story in 13 hours, and that is with a LOT of backtracking. You have the option afterward of replaying the game in ‘Hero Mode’, which doubles the damage you receive from enemies, so there is some replay value here, but I found that playing through for a second time was a lot less enjoyable.

This game is amazing while it lasts, and should be a must-buy if you like to replay games for enjoyment. Let me reiterate, this game is FUN. There are still things to do outside of the story, but I feel a bit short-changed with the amount of story I got.

Love the mix of SNES nostalgia with revamped modern graphics and game play. The game is very addictive and reminds me of being a 8 year old again exploring the world of Link to the Past. The 3D effect works well, the audio is high quality and the feel is typical Zelda. I'd say a must have for your 3DS collection.

Story is interesting. Gameplay feels very nostalgic to older LoZ titles. Rewarding challenges. If you are looking at this game just buy it. Right now. It is one of the better 3DS titles out there and a must own!!

Besides Legend of Zelda: OOT, Link Between Worlds is a GREAT Zelda game. I quite enjoyed the artwork and the quests as well as the boss battles…reminds me very much of A Link to the Past. It's such a fantastic story as well…

Really amazing game! Even if you haven't played the previous rendition (like me) you'll enjoy it! Actually it makes a certain twist at the end even more surprising.

If you are a fan of The Zelda games, or any RPG's at all, this is a must buy.

Really great take on the zelda franchise, merging into walls is awesome. Highly recomend if your a fan of any rpgs or the other zeldas

I'm a big Zelda fan, and “A Link To The Past” was one of the most amazing games I had on the SNES growing up… and this is a very similar game (set in the same Hyrule but with a different story).

This ticks all the boxes in terms of a classic styles Zelda game, with modern graphics and gameplay.

Being able to merge into walls seemed gimmicky when seeing screenshots… but it brings a whole new level of gameplay and puzzle solving into the game.

Absolutely a 10/10. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
