"The most fantastic ocean DVD !!!"
5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

This is a must have if you have any love for the moana. If you do not have any afinity with the planets oceans-then again this is a must see. After seeing disc 3Ā you may stop visiting the chip shop, or assisting those who rape and pillage the beautiful oceans, of which only 1% have been explored but which much more has been destroyed by very destructive fishing methods [i.e bottom trawling etc]. AĀ great present for the young who maybe able to stop what us ā€˜grown-ups?ā€™ have done and continue to do. This reminds us we share this planet-we don't own it. Aroha DaveĀ www.stopwhaling.co.nz

"Dave Rocks"

IĀ doubt you would find a better glimpse into the wonders beneath the sea anywhere else on earth (aside from going, and seeing for yourself, which we all know is either not possible, not feasible, or (without squillions of dollars of high-tech gadgetry) simply not practical). David Attenborough is, quite simply, the most brilliant conservationist, Earthmologist, and animalologist in the world and he offers a simply stunning portrait of our oceans and the life teeming within those vast depths. IĀ believe this documentary series took around 5Ā years to film, and it certainly shows. It is informative, interesting, and complete, and IĀ would seriously recommend this to anybody interested in, or even the least bit concerned with our oceans and where they are heading in the future.

"Awesome Series"
5 stars"

It'sĀ just a shame that you can't get a blu-ray version of this here, on this side of the world, since with a 55Ā inch big screen TV, ordinary DVD just doesn't cut it anymore (HD wise). Very skilfully filmed with clear and interesting narration by David Attenborough. The Special Edition comes with numerous additional featuresā€¦all of which are very interesting. IĀ would definitely recommendĀ this!
