Sega Toys introduce an enhanced version of the Homestar R2-D2 – the EX, which features many upgrades including a new set of Color Celestial Object maps (Stars, Planets…) as well as the addition of C-3PO and Princess Leia alongside the Death Star and R2-D2 “speech” sound FX. The Homestar R2-D2 EX is also larger with a size of 210×280×140mm (5.5×6.3×11").

A sophisticated scaled replica of R2-D2, this deluxe version home planetarium is ideal for Star Wars fans, and features around 10,000 stars (including the Death Star) that can be projected from R2's head out onto your ceiling. It's larger than the original and is capable of diplaying not only the Death Star but also an X-Wing Fighter, the Milleneum Falcon or a Star Destroyer – along with a variety of other stars and planets from our own Solar System.

In addition to the top projector, there's also a front projector that's able to display 5 of your favorite charaters from Star Wars.
