User Review (for alternative design, same model)
“This ukulele was purchased for an elementary school aged grandchild, because
. . . well, who can resist the adorable frog painted on the face?!? But, the
instrument is much more than cute. This uke plays very well, holds a tune well,
and was a great purchase.” Mary Ann
About Ukulele Sizes
Ukuleles are divided according to their size. There are four main classifications: soprano, concert, tenor and baritone.
- The soprano ukulele is the smallest size of ukulele. It's is the classic size of ukulele.
- The concert ukulele is the next up in size with a length of around 23 inches (58.5cm).
- Tenor ukuleles are larger still. Their greater size gives the fingers plenty of room for ukulele pyrotechnics.
- The baritone ukulele is much larger than the other sizes and is tuned differently. Rather than being tuned like a ukulele, its strings are tuned the same as the top four strings of the guitar.
