Bad graphics. Bad controls. Bad storyline. Buy it if you want. You'll just want your money back. Rather go buy Skate 2/3. Those games are way more fun and realistic

This is not your run of the mill skateboarding game. Unique controls and storyline which is heaps of fun :) Gameplay is a little slow and tricky to begin with. But after you've purchased the full range of tricks and mastered the controls it's endless fun. Much more realistic that Tony Hawk games and a close second to Skate3 overall.
Shaun White Skateboarding isn't a terrible game, but it offers nothing to a genre with two well-established series covering all bases – the Tony Hawk series for arcade skating and the awesome Skate series for a very realistic, authentic approach.
Shaun White Skateboarding doesn't really offer any reason why it needed to be made; it doesn't do arcade skating as well as the earlier Tony Hawk games did, and it certainly doesn't have enough realistic gameplay to compete with Skate.
Shaun White Skateboarding takes you where no other skateboarding game has ever gone. Mind blowing graphics with endless posibilities to enhance your skating arena. Imagine being able to turn dull streets into a skaters paradise and dull people into awesome skaters with grinds, kickflips and whatever else your mind can create. This has got to be the game to get this summer for any hard out skateboard fan. You won't be dissapointed. Skate your way into your imagination and take the ride of your life.
Kids enjoyed it and at that price its a steal, thanks Mighty Ape
Love this game, something different. Very unique
This is a very good game that both me and my brother love
This game has a unique approach to skating, or gameplay in general, in that you can actually shape parts of the level as you traverse them, such as rails and ramps. These obstacles can be reset and shaped again in any way up to a set length.
You are given a relatively wide trick set but you probably wont find yourself needing to use them often. Manuals are very sensitive, but near-infinite. Vert tricks feel very weak and it is quite difficult to get any air, you will spend most of this game on rails. Collision of particular obstacles can be far too precise, for example landing on a rail is simple, but on a road block it can take me a good 15 tries, and it becomes tedious and time-consuming.
The visuals in this game are quite impressive at first because as you get more influence and do tricks you slowly convert a grey Orwellian world into one of neon beauty, but very little is done with this element later in the game.
It's a decent way to pass the time, but if you want a great fantastical skating adventure I would recommend the THPS series instead.
I love this game so much! I love to trade it!
