This series of discs have been fantastic to watch. They explain in minute detail how, when and why these disasters happened. Every aspect has been looked into and explained very thoroughly. These would be an excellent learning tool for older students. If you are thinking of buying these just go ahead. You won't regret it.

Both Volume 1 and Volume 2 of “Seconds from Disaster” are great value for money DVD sets which document why and how a particular disaster took place. The documentaries are based on the official post disaster reports and are very detailed in counting down the steps that helped contribute to the disaster occurring. A great purchase, I give the documentary content is 5 star but using the original broadcast aspect ratio of 4:3 in my opinion make it a 4 not a 5 star package. Great value for everyone that enjoys good documentaries.
These are a fantastic set of documentaries on various disasters. I thoroughly enjoyed them and found the value for money absolutely outstanding. You get 12 episodes and each one is quite in depth – though I did check for further details on some of the disasters online afterwards to get a better overall picture. The only downside is that the episodes are not widescreen so either you watch it stretched or at normal aspect ratio. But this is a tiny issue when compared to everything you get.
