Razer Chimaera 5.1Ch Wireless Headset (X360 & PC) reviews

I was actually surprised due to the stereo like speaker setup but this headset actual provides very good positional surround sound with a decent sound quality. The headset is also very comfortable and this comes from someone that usually cannot stand to wear head phones for long.

This would have got a five, but there are a few issues/ Headset might be bit too big for some people regardless of settings

I cant seem to get the mic working with my PC. (works fine on 360)

sometimes disconnects from pc channel

Took a bit of setting up on the PC but worth it, I can hear people around corners on Black Ops 2 & across the map on MW3. Would have been five stars if I didn't have to buy another plug to make it work. (Razor should add it to the Pack, Not a Mighty Ape issue though) delivered quick and well packaged as always.

The worst purchase I have ever made. Not only did they hurt to wear for longer than an hour at a time and they cut out a lot with the stand losing connection to the headset (wireless was good other than this). And as all razor products do, they broke after about 6 months (granted due to me dropping them). The sound quality was nice on them though and if you have a regular sized head they may not be as uncomfortable as I found them. I never had a battery issue either.

I think there are better headsets out there in this price range.

Great headset, a must buy to any casual gamers.

Headphones are comfortable enough only let down is the battery life. Headphones only last about 3 – 4 hours before going flat.
