I finished this book in a day; it was that good. I couldn't put it down. The fourth book in the Gone series and it hasn't lost any steam along the way. Highly recommend!

This series is great for young adults! Things start to get more darker and serious in this one as it deals with some stuff that the other books didn't have in it. If your a fan of the Gone series you got to check out Plague.

Description

This is a blood-pumping, white-knuckle sci-fi thriller of epic proportions. The FAYZ goes from bad to worse...The darkness has been foiled once again and the resurrected Drake has been contained. But the streets of Perdido Beach are far from safe, with a growing army of mutants fighting against the humans for power in the town. In a small room of a house near the edge of town, Little Pete lies ill on a bed. In his fevered dreams, he continues his battle with the hidden evil that seeks to use his power to bring about anarchy and destruction.

Author Biography

Michael Grant has spent much of his life on the move. Raised in a military family, he attended ten schools in five states of the USA, as well as three schools in France. Even as an adult he kept moving, and in fact he became a writer in part because it was one of the few jobs that wouldn't tie him down. His fondest dream is to spend a whole year circumnavigating the globe and visiting every continent. Yes, even Antarctica. He lives in Southern California, with his wife, Katherine Applegate, their two children, and far too many pets.
