I really don't have to repeat what 9/10 user reviews online say… For this price range, the Sensei [RAW] is definitely a top contender. Unfortunately, I find it incredibly uncomfortable, to the point where I develop aches after just minutes.

I have a fingertip grip, a sort of palm/claw hybrid grip. And although my hands are average-sized, I have quite short, stumpy fingers. With the ergonomics of the Sensei, my ring & pinky fingers wind up sliding down the ambidextrous contour along the left-hand side until I'm holding the mouse at around a 45-degree angle, causing those two fingers immense strain.

I can see this mouse being very comfortable (hell, even the surface is just nice to handle) for your average claw gripper, as well as those who palm grip with smaller hands. But for the unlucky minority like myself, whose fingers don't reach very far in claw grip and find a full-palm grip unbearably unnatural, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

I bought this based on the excellent reviews I had seen on other sites. Everything works perfectly but the rubberised surface, while being pleasant to touch, is actually quite slippery. I'm getting used to it, but perhaps not worth the high price tag. The shape is very similar to my Microsoft mouse – maybe just a little bit flatter. The glowing logo and wheel is super cool and the braided cable is a nice touch. Shame about the slippery surface.

Fingerprint resistant unlike the glossy version. Dpi switch button allowing easy changes between two dpi sensitivities. White LED backlight on scroll wheel and Steelseries logo. Is an all round great gaming mouse, 4 macro buttons on the side which I found to be adequate for fps games, but would recommend more for a mmo game. How ever you can not save profiles to the mouse it self, only to your computer which may or may not be a problem, depending on your usage.
