"An Action shooter with a difference."
5 stars"

I had read some negative reviews about Bulletstorm from the console crowd but I was totally blown away.

The single player games is only about 5 – 6 hours long but its an absolute thrill ride and all my friends have replayed the single player game several times over.

Bulletstorm starts off as an ordinary shooter in the single player game and then introduces you to the skill system which is woven into the story. The more skill points you collect, the more weapons and ammo upgrades you can unlock.

For me, I have died loads of times in the single player game as I was to occupied trying to pull off some complex skill shots and was over run by the enemy. The enemies come thick and fast and get more difficult over the course of the game.

Bulletstrom uses the checkpoint system to save your games. There were some area's that I found myself getting quite annoyed at having to repeat, but overall the checkpoint system doesn't take you to far back in the game. The voice acting is a little cheesy, but its what I like about the game. This is definitely a game you need to play when the kids are in bed as the language is definitely unsuitable.

The multi player doesn't offer you many game options as it's limited to co-op at the moment but is a fun diversion from other games. You and your friends can play together trying to gain as many skill points as possible. DLC has already been announced for Bulletstorm. Hopefully a versus mode will be coming soon.

Overall a great fps shooter that offers something different.

Take away the gimmick, oh sorry, skillshots, and it's just another FPS, marred by the 12yr old boy language.
