Here in our family, when deciding on a movie to watch, the guys tend to call any action movie a chick-flick, and then justify it, due to the fact it more-often-than-not has at least one (usually attractive) chick in it. In the case of this movie, it is a chick-flick, but with a twist. There is no hot guy wooing anyone, but instead a brother stuffing things up for his sisters. This is perhaps the first movie I've seen Paul Rudd as the lead male, and he does a great job of “filling in the gaps” in each of his sister's miserable lives. He almost plays “The Dude” in this movie (guys should know who I mean). It's down-to-earth, and there is never really a time I think anyone is forced to act outside of themselves. I'd thoroughly recommend it to guys who would otherwise shun chick-flicks altogether.
