Sweet & Irie are the debut 9-piece reggae band from NZ. Fronted by the charismatic lead vocalist Ed Ru, Sweet & Irie have already captured a large fan base from their many guest appearances and energetic live shows across New Zealand in the last few years.

Sweet & Irie had their first national break in 2007 featuring on the underground hit single and video “Take It Out South” with Brotha D. Then in 2008 they landed a starring role in the NZ charts with the Top 5 NZ Single “Feels Like Magic” with Horsemen Family. This catapulted major interest in this emerging reggae band and since then the band have been hard at work in the studio recording their debut album.
