Description

Hey, That’s My Fish! is an engaging, award-winning board game of strategic fish hunting, in which 2–4 players control determined penguins hungry for their next meal on a bustling Antarctic ice floe. Since Hey, That’s My Fish! was originally published in 2003, it has become widely popular as an engrossing and strategic board game for casual family and tactical play.

Hey, That’s My Fish! is infinitely replayable. The 60 hexagonal tiles that each display 1–3 fish are used to randomly construct the board, which will have your penguins traveling a differently shaped path every game. As you hone your strategy with every new map, will the icy shapes lead to your demise or will you claim victory?

Game includes 60 hexagons to create your ice floe with new artwork renditions of fish, 1 rules sheet, and 16 newly sculpted colourful and animated penguin miniatures. Can you waddle your way to dinner? Secure the best fishing ground with Hey, That’s My Fish!

Number of Players: 2–4.
Ages: 8+ (not suitable for children aged 0–3).
Game Length: 20 min.

Let them eat fish…

5 stars "Big game in little box"

I run a gaming group and holiday program. This is a great family game for kids and adults. It is simple to play, you can learn in a minute or so, has lots of tactical thinking to challenge young and old alike, and plays out in 10–15 minutes. This is a brilliant game to start into modern boardgames, and this edition is like a travel pack, you can take it almost anywhere and requires about 30×30cm table space. A great gift as well.

5 stars "Don't let the price and size fool you"

It comes in a box the size of a mince and cheese pie, but this game has a surprising amount of strategy. With rules you can learn in 10 seconds and really cute game pieces, this would be a hit with the kids… but wait till you get 4 adults sitting round the table – then the cut-throat nastiness begins to surface! Excellent way to spend quarter of an hour.

5 stars "Got 10 minutes to spare-"

Ever had a bunch of five year olds sitting at a table saying “Oi! That's my fish!” No- Well I have and it's super fun, simple to play to all ages and the kids have even named the penguins. Tactics are quickly learnt and battle lines drawn as multiple players can either team up or cut off the icebergs from other players. The size, quality and price of the game is perfect for players who have a spare 10 minutes to play!
