Having not built up a proper relationship with any of these characters thanks to the first book's bland characterizing, this ending which was not surprising in any way lived up to expectations.
- Plot which keeps you guessing (for 20mins)
- Better look at motives of characters
- ONI is the good guy goes against canon
- Still didn't connect to Halo 4
- Explained little about what Humans are doing to rebuild/expand
- ODST's are so full of themselves (Palmer anyone-)
Overall this book was a decent read if you hate Halsey and like over-emotional ODSTs, but for me, this book goes into the “so boring even a bullet can't go through it” category.
