Where to start,
I was surprised to see that the base is plastic but I wasn't worried, then I tried to put the statue on the base and the back leg was considerably out from the hole. Ok, maybe it was designed so you had to force it a fair bit, which is odd.
Next up was assembling the torso, unfortunately the legs don't like the main body ball joint and no matter of force can connect them (its a shame as the head piece ball joint is perfect). Now it just sits on top and a small gust could blow it off.
To make things worse, one of the arm pieces broke and is stuck in the statue. Essentially the arms have protruding knobs that connect to the main statue, unfortunately they appear not to be part of the arm and are merely glued to it. Because of this, it gets stuck in the joint and with bad glue it separated from the arm on the very first try at connecting it.
It looks really good, its just such a shame that at $260 the build quality is so lacking.
