Girls Season 1 reviews

The main quartet of (anti-) heroines in this series are so annoyingly relatable. They are hilarious in unsuspecting ways, and even though the situations they end up in are oftentimes ridiculous, and almost always are consequences of their own doing, you still root for all four girls in a big way. The lads are played so well that they can't not get a mention – whether you hate or love certain characters, they still show a (at least partially) realistic picture of relationships that all young adults struggle through daily, whether in the Big Apple or pokey old Wellywood. Would not recommend this series for younger viewers – there is a lot of nudity and general sexual talk/acting going on (It's R18 for a good reason). Keen for season two to come out!
