The second season continues on from the magnificence of the first, accentuated by the fantastic Blu-ray transfer. The extras, as with season 1, are astounding, especially the interactive guide to the War of the 5 Kings. With complex storylines, intriguing characters, and arguably the most breathtaking achievement in special effects for any television show (Dragons! Direwolves! The Battle of Blackwater Bay!), Game of Thrones Season 2 on Blu-ray reigns supreme.
